POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. Maximum Day Time & Night Time Occupancy is 8, excluding children under twelve (12) years of age.
2. Parking for 4 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. Dollar Point amenities are no longer available to renters.
4. There is short but steep downward slope from the house to the lake shore.
5. There is NO pier access at this home. Boaters must provide their own mooring lines. Tahoe Getaways cannot provide watercraft of any kind; guests must provide their own means of transport to the buoy.
6. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.
7. The home next door is currently under construction (Summer/Fall 2024). Some noise and nuisance are possible.

Family Trip with Disable Person

Water's Edge gets 5 stars for location. It was perfect. The house itself was fine but a little tired in terms of decor and fittings. It is not flat into the house and could do with a portable ramp to help those with wheelchairs to easily access the house....but was still achievable. Our main problem was not with the house but with the management company that looked after the house. We were not forewarned that the plot next to the house was being developed. We had building noise from 7:15 each morning until 3:00 in the afternoon each day. We didn't have a problem with the builders (it happens everywhere) but we were not pleased that we did not get any warning. The plot was huge and building work had been going on for a long time. We found it in bad manners on their part. They funny thing was....there is a note when you arrived talking about being good neighbours and quiet times between 8pm and 8am. However, they didn't feel it applied to us. We were over from the UK and it is a general obligation to disclose this type information when booking. We still enjoyed our time together as a family but would not book a house with this management company again.

Views to die for

The property is lake front! We were able to have coffee and cocktails in the lake every morning and evening. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. But the lake and how close we were to it is the star.

Deck experience...

The house was fine, clean and aside from the deck experience would have received a high review. Also now that we are universally experiencing a warmer summer condition, the owners might seriously consider adding AC for the renters comfort. The deck is old, somewhat rickety and could use some necessary loving care, re-staining and maintenance. The furniture and BBQ are past their expected life and not representative of the quality expected when renting a house in this rental range. The house operated (kitchen appliances,TV's, washer dryer) all very well. The bathrooms were clean and fully operable. The adjacent property is under construction and provided an added feature as the uniqueness of the construction as well as the very professional contractor concerned about our stay was seen as a positive. As an owner myself of multiple properties I understand you cannot control your neighbors. In this case the adjacent owner will eventually add to the value of this rental property. I would likely stay here again if the comments I have offered were recognized. Best.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!

This home exceeded our expectations. The view was just what I hoped for and the house was in a beautiful neighborhood. Could not have helped our adventure vacation be more perfect. We made it work with our wheelchair by using our portable ramp and some 2x6/1x4 wood, once in the house it was easy to navigate.
