In the heart of Ximending shopping district. Rooms are large in size but layout for our xL twin room for 3 people included a soft mattress on a hard sofa. A regular rollaway bed would have been better. The free laundry is really convenient. Our last day the wifi was down for the whole day. I complained multiple times but front desk could nto provide an eta. Eventually they provided my room with its own router which was nice but slow. Can't recall other instances in all my travels where WiFi was down for more than a day especially in a developed area. Was not a power outage. Was still down the day I left. Would have given 5 stars but that issue knocked it down to 4.

We love Amba hotels. Nice size rooms, great locations, free laundry, ice machines and friendly staff. This one has a great location and we enjoyed being right in the action. Room was quiet even with the action on the streets below. Metro station is a short walk too. We did everything including day trip to Juifen with the hotel as a base. Very walkable. Super convenient and really welcoming. Highly recommend.

The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The check in staff were also friendly and helpful. The only issue was there was a little bit of mould in the bathrooms, likely due to lack of ventilation. But otherwise it was a comfortable stay in a very convenient area

During check-in, the staff was neither welcoming nor friendly. He did not mention any of the hotel amenities or offer suggestions, even though we arrived very early in the morning. When we inquired about paying an early check-in fee, the rate offered was for a check-in six hours early, but at a price higher than our original booking rate. Additionally, we would still have had to wait two hours for that early check-in. We declined the offer, as it didn’t seem worth it

Nice area and clean hotel. Got the highest level 10, with rain shower and separate toilet area from shower. They provided 2 bottle of water, free slippers, bathrobes, shampoos, body soap and lotions. TV has many international channels and spacious. Really enjoying this area. Lobby is at 5th floor and have foosball and many sitting areas.
