Beautiful home

Your home was beautiful, it was cozy, clean, comfortable and spacious. Nice and quiet, with gorgeous sunrises to speechless sunsets. The wild life was unexpectedly entertaining, from seeing different types of crabs, stingrays and even dolphins one morning. This place was by far incredible. Thank you so much for letting us in your home.

Perfect escape close to everything

Love the house and location. We were 4 adults traveling to the Crawfordville area to visit other family. The house has comfy queen beds (instead of the popular full size) and that made all the difference. The view is wonderful. The outdoor shower was a special treat. We'll definitely book again when we're back in the area.

Remarkably quiet, private, and romantic stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and especially disconnecting with media and connecting with eachother and nature. The stars at night were stunning, and the sunrises and sunsets absolutely beautiful. We biked, fished, explored the local area, and relaxed!! We definately will return and recommendation this property for others.

Great stay!!

This place is a great stay!!! It has everything you need. Amazing views of sunrise and set. Comfortable beds. One of my favorite thing is the TV. You have actual channels to click on. Most places have Netflix, Hulu . I had my own Hotspot it worked perfectly. We really enjoyed it. My 12yr old son caught Red drum fish. We cleaned them with the table provided at this place. Really enjoyed our stay.

Windy but peaceful

We have stayed at this cottage a number of times over the years when we come up for our Florida State games. We usually go kayaking and fishing but this time it was way too windy for that but it was beautiful and peaceful so we did some extra hiking and ate some awesome seafood at the local restaurant; we will be back.!

If only

4adults, 3 nights, and they left us 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towels. And they definitely need to secure some of the deck boards as they are tripping hazards. Other than that it’s a beautiful location.

Good times with grands

We enjoyed our stay very much while visiting our children and grandchildren...impeccable cleanliness and the accommodations were outstanding. The one sunset and sunrise we saw were just beautiful. Unfortunately, it stormed all the other days keeping us from enjoying the so many amenities. The house is nicely put together and has everything and so much more you'll ever need. Kitchen is perfectly stocked...important to us because we LOVE to cook. Although we didn't need these, a few things the host should consider adding...an ironing board and iron, clothes hangers and a hair dryer. Only dissapointment was the gas grill outside couldn't be used because it was not clean. An overall awesome experience and we will definitely be back!

Stunning sunrises/sunsets with waterfront wonders.

The outdoors & indoors rivaled each other in feasts for the eyes and surprise. Everything from the kitchen to bedroom was purposely chosen for function & comfort. All I left were my blessings and hopes to stay here again when I am in the area. Peace to all who stay at the Island House.

Summer Get Away

Really Cool, Quirky little House with a huge deck and views of the Bay and Beautiful Sunsets. The House was well appointed with plenty of beds and a huge Den to relax in. We loved getting away from the Hustle and Bustle of the big city and just relax.

Perfect place to stay to while we congratulated our daughter for receiving her Master's degree at FSU. Great fishing, quiet neighborhood, close enough to Tallahassee and day trips to Apalachicola and St George Island.

Great except for TP anxiety

Property was great. Did not see the emails that didn’t come from Vrbo initially. One of the guests had food poisoning our first night. I brought paper towels but didn’t think to bring TP. Two rolls was barely enough for our unexpected first night.

The overall stay was wonderful. very clean and nice. I wish the fishing was better but when the tide goes out they canal has no water.. interesting to see. Wish there was more to do around there but very relaxing. Beautiful stars and sunsets.
