Villa Mariposa 8 is a vacation home located in Tamarindo. The home is in a gated community with 9 other villas. It is the perfect location - a 10 minute walk to the center of Tamarindo, restaurants, night clubs, and the beach. It is quiet and tranquil because it is not in the center of town.

The house is supplied with linens, towels, cookware, a microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and washer/dryer. It is air conditioned. Guests have access to the community pool.

The property is managed by a professional management company. You can relax and know they are available to assist with tour bookings, activities, and restaurant suggestions.

The house includes Cable TV (Local and US channel line-up) and WIFI.

6 week stay

I so loved my time staying in this sweet little villa. I loved the outdoor areas and the proximity to town, but with quiet at night. It was better than represented by the pictures. The house was well equipped, the management company and owner were a delight. My only suggestion would be an upgrade of mattresses. We rented a golf cart for tooling around town. It was a wonderful stay.

The owner is a fraud

The owner accepted payment but did not confirm with the hotel. I received a hotel confirmation, and when we arrived, they did not have the reservations. We had to book another room at the hotel and double pay until this matter was resolved. We tried calling the owner multiple times. She read the text messages and hung up on the hotel staff. This was the worst experience. Do not book this cabin. Horrible. I was traveling with my family (two small children ). We spent half of our first night in the hotel lobby.

The house was nice and clean in a good neighborhood. Very easy getting into and out of, Daniela was a pleasure to work with. We plan on going back to visit again and will look to rent this property again thanks for a great time

Calm oasis

We stayed here for 3 months. The house was very clean & well stocked. Any issue we had was taken care of immediately by the staff at Horizon Pacific. It was the perfect location to get away from the busy downtown & only a short walk to the beach. I would recommend this property to anyone.

It was a great pleasure to stay there. All the comforts are in the house. From the washing machine to the dryer, from the towel to the ice bag for the beach to the beach, and a TV with channels from all over the world if you need it and good wifi! Everything perfectly tidy and clean. All the amenities indicated in the presentation are real. The price is justified for what is offered. Just only a ridiculous, nice and unimportant observation: plan to change the pots ;-)) They are teflon and are scratched! The result of some clients a little clumsy... Thanks, thanks again and best regards. With sympathy (sorry if some mistakes, english is not my first language...) !
