The property is located in a good spot, away from the craziness of downtown but close enough you can walk. The beach area in front is one of the surfing hotspots if that's what you are looking for. Mainly I would say the staff at this place is the best anywhere that we've been in years. They are friendly, helpful and all around amazing.

If you’re looking for a small , private spot to relax on your vacation this is it! The staff was courteous and so helpful. The room was immaculate and morning breakfast was just what we needed - fruit,granola and coffee! There’s surfing right in front of the hotel and we had a short walk on the beach to the pickup spot for fishing. My wife and I loved it! What a truly relaxing week

Very beautiful hotel right on the beach, with easy beach access (great for laying out on the loungers and watching the sunset), with a pretty blue pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were delicious and had huge portions. The only downside was the black mold in the shower, the wall below the air conditioner, and the air conditioner itself which was blowing out chunks of black stuff while on.

From the moment we arrived, The staff was very welcoming. The Hotel is well kept very clean. The breakfast selection in the morning is wonderful. The security staff is friendly and very helpful with the lounge chairs. Dijen at the front desk is exceptional, a true asset to The Coast, he was very helpful with suggestions and directions and always with a smile, I would never hesitate to suggest, The Coast

Perfect location

Started our honeymoon here. Amazing location - quiet and private but on the beach. We left our rental car parked in the lot the whole time and walked everywhere via the beach. Comfy bed, nice room, and breakfast is delivered to your room each morning. Front desk staff was very nice. Only complaint was that the TVs don’t work. They turn on but you can’t stream anything, connect to WiFi, or get cable channels, so they are basically useless. We asked for help and they told us the same thing.

Boutique hotel - steps to the beach which connects to the core part of town. Location is perfect. If you stay on the main floor, you enter from the patio door - very convenient. They have a communal BBQ with outdoor tables for dinners. Breakfast is ordered daily and comes to the room. It’s contental so no eggs or meat but there is a full kitchen if you want to cook. They even have a blender to make smoothies. Great for the leftover breakfast fruit!

We had an amazing stay at The Coast Beachfront Hotel! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with surfable waves just steps away. They offer surfboard and boogie board rentals, making it super convenient to catch some waves. The hotel is a short, easy walk to the town center, so everything is close by, yet the area remains peaceful and safe. The rooms were spotless, the pool was inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The light breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a delightful touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Tamarindo!
