I enjoy staying here when I have to be at the airport early in the a.m. The staff is welcoming, the rooms are always neat, and I enjoy their breakfast selections.

They kick me out during hurricane IAN, did not offer to help me find another place to stay and would not extend my stay. When we checked in the first day they were making popcorn my wife asked for a bag and they said no you cannot have it until 7 PM, I found them to be rude and they did not care about my personal safety forcing me to check out on the day of a scheduled hurricane. i’ve stated many choice properties before and never would have thought your level of service would have deteriorated to this level. I wouldn’t force anybody out of my personal home during the mist of potentially the worst hurricane ever.

Dear Russell,I would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight. When you checked in to the Hotel you had a 3 night reservation. This reservation was from the 25th until the 28th. During your stay you inquired about extending on the 28th given the fact that this was the day the Hurricane was to make landfall. Unfortunately at that time we were completely sold out and it was impossible for us to extend your reservation. Our records show that you left 1 day before your original check out date. You were not kicked out of the Hotel during the huricane like you claim, you left the day before you were due to check out and you left on your own accord.In regards to the Popcorn, we serve them at 7pm. We have a schedule for cookies and Popcorn as well as a schedule for the breakfast.
