I called the reservation number and verified my son could check in at 18 yrs old. He was in Tampa and it was midnight. He had a 4 hour drive to Tallahassee and was exhausted. It was unsafe for him to be on the road. The person at the reservation desk said it was fine. I explained I found the room on Travelocity for $90 cheaper and would book it on line. I did a non refundable knowing my son was just down the street and would be there soon. When he arrived, the hotel clerk would not let him check in, even with me on the phone explaining the situation. They wouldn’t make an exception after I explained that the reservation desk told me it was ok.

Everything was almost perfect. The price, the location, the staff. The rooms were well maintained. The TV had multiple different streaming services. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The only thing missing was a decent breakfast, a poor variety of options, you had three choices, oatmeal, cereal, or a bagel. I would've loved some eggs and sausage, or even just one waffle maker! But for the price of the room its hard to complain. We had a wonderful time spent at this location.

Staff didn’t communicate well. We checked in early and maintenance was not aware and attempted to get into our room while we were in there. Then, this morning before checkout, housekeeping attempted to come in two hours before we were scheduled to check out while we were still sleeping in the bed.

This hotel and the pictures did align. If it wasn’t an emergency and I wouldn’t have made my reservations at this place. I’m so disappointed in Hilton for this misrepresentation of there hotel. I have pictures of the roach and video footage of the running toilet. This experience has been horrible!
