I invite you to make yourselves at home, relax, enjoy & most of all, have FUN in this paradise!
The property was very beautiful and the grandkids love being able to go out play and be as loud as they won't to be without bothering the neighbors, they had a blast.
Cozy with a beautiful view. Wildlife was amazing!!! Owners very responsive to questions during our stay. Beds were very comfy, but creaky. Despite the beds being creaky, we all slept great! Only thing I would change would be to add a dishwasher. There were plenty of dishes, but everything had to be hand washed. I definitely recommend & we will be returning as this was one of the few places we could stay that had 4 separate rooms with adult sized beds, so everyone could have their own rooms. Price was great as well!
The home was clean, had everything we needed and Amy was very responsive when we had questions. The property is beautiful, the kids who didnât ski enjoyed staying hoke to sled and play in the snow
Our family of nine enjoyed the beautiful and secluded home. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Definitely enjoyed the hot showers after a day of mountain biking and fishing. We made all our meals, used the fire pit to make our sâmores. The trails around were filled with beautiful wildflowers. Thank you for a memorable family getaway.
A lovely getaway in the mountains that can accommodate the entire family. The 2 bathrooms had very nice, recently updated, showers and the memory foam mattresses in the spacious downstairs rooms were welcoming after an invigorating hike on the Cougar Trail which you can access just a few steps out the front door. The kid's accommodations upstairs were not as updated or comfortable with a saggy mattress and dangerously steep non-compliant staircase. Lighting in the kitchen was lacking but well appointed with a new refrigerator and nice stove. The gas grill on the covered back porch offered a lovely seating area to dine alfresco or nature watch. The raised front porch offered views of deer that practically eat out of your hand and ample chipmunk/ bird-watching opportunities. Overall, a very nice property to recommend.
We rented this cabin to celebrate our two friends getting married in January. There were 10 of us all together and it was a perfect fit. It had everything we needed and then some. Definitely would book again!
We came up to Angel Fire to see how much it has changed since we grew up there. Then we had a celebration of life for my Dad and spread his ashes in his favorite spot. Lots of laughter and love during our trip. Wish we all could have stayed longer. Had a great time enjoying the cabin and sitting out on the porch chatting and waiting for dusk for the dear to come around.
Very beautiful property. Loved the wildlife. Made memories with the family on our first time in NM!~The following concerns were just an irritant and annoying but we still loved our stay.
Some concerns:
Horrible lighting. Would recommend you put a sign for the light in the laundry room. The entire cabin needs more lights. It's very dim even with all lights on!
Cupboards and drawers very disorganized. Appears no one has attempted to organize for years.
Pans all need to be replaced with mindfulness as to what a normal family with kids would need, i.e. maybe a griddle? Front Screen bent. Remotes not working. Only two dishtowels. One bathroom drain was clogged and we fixed. Can opener is broken. Couldn't get the front door to lock with the code. Had to always use the rear door. Back King fish bedroom doorlock is broken. Absolutely no instruction on TV use and access. One bedroom remote was broken. Didn't instruct that upstairs TV only could pay Movies etc. Two of the remotes we had to go and get batteries cause they were dead.
Thank you for sharing your home with us. Very roomy and very comfortable home! We enjoyed our stay and will most definitely stay here again! Very unique place!!
Family of 9 spent an extended weekend at this quaint little cabin
Our family of 9 plus our furbabies went in September and had a wonderful time! It is a quaint little cabin which we thoroughly enjoyed! Was wonder to have enough bedrooms for all of us!! The living room and kitchen were a little small for 9 but I feel it made us enjoy our time together and create many memories even more!!
We enjoyed several deer and many babies at the house!!! They love being fed from the porch and just wonder around for us humans to enjoy their peacefulness!
We did take our ATVâs and it was wonderful to be able to ride in the neighborhood and to the store. We also went to one trail and the sites were beautiful!! Heads-up, there is a gate at the trailhead that you must open and close as you enter and exit. At first we thought the trailhead was closed but thankfully learned what we had to do to enjoy this beautiful ride!! As we rode in the neighborhood we saw many deer, wild turkeys and a heard of elk. SO AMAZING!!
Warning- the stairs leading up to the bedroom is narrow and steep, good thing it was the young ones sleeping up there. Also, there is a room deodorizer in the home that can be a little strong. Due to allergies we ended up putting it outside until we left.
Thank you so much for the hospitality and all of the things that were supplied in the house!! All we had to do was take our food / drink and we were set!! I would recommend this home for a getaway and time to make so many memories!!!
Property was as advertised and host was responsive. Perfect place for a quick getaway with the family (and dog!). The surrounding woods/trails on the property were fantastic. The kids loved watching for all the different animals that came by during the day. Would definitely stay again.
