Worst Stay-Warning: Don't book here

My husband and I paid to stay at this property for 5 days. On day 3, the sewer backed up in the shower and leaked from the base of the toilet. There is only one bathroom in the unit and it no longer worked. We called the property manager and left a message. He returned the call and said he'd send a plumber out. It was late in the afternoon and we waited for a couple hours. No plumber showed up. I left the manager, Josh, two messages asking for information. We didn't know if we needed to find a different place for the night. Josh never returned my calls. We ended up going out and using restaurant bathrooms and staying the night. I tried contacting management in the morning to see if a plumber was coming. My call wasn't returned. We packed up and I left a message notifying management that we were checking out early. As we were leaving a plumber showed up. He checked the situation and said that the line was plugged all the way to the road and he'd need to get more tools, as it was going to be a big job. I tried calling management again, and again it went to voicemail. We went to a nearby hotel, the cheapest one we could find last minute and paid 175 for the night. Management never returned my messages and I never received a refund. I filed a complaint with VRBO and they never resolved the matter. I've booked many stays with VRBO but after this, never again. This property is managed by untrustworthy people.

Cozy Casita in Taos

This cozy bungalow provided everything that we needed during a February stay in Taos. It was conveniently located and very clean. Because it is dog-friendly, we were able to bring our small dog with us, which was an added bonus (and there was absolutely no evidence of previous dogs who were guests).

Nice little Casita in downtown

Cute Casita in downtown Taos. Close to the plaza and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The house itself was clean, but it is older, like many of the adobes in Taos.

Great Place!!

Very clean and nice! Close to the downtown area! Pretty cold when we arrived, however, we turned on the fireplace and the heater in the bedroom and we were fine. After showering, there were several insects in the shower.
