Find yourself in a quiet residential neighborhood setting at this sweet Taos home. Enjoy views of Taos Mountain through the cottonwood trees on the spacious private back deck. The deck overlooks two sprawling lawns with a grilling area and tons of space for family games and basking in the sun. Claim a chair and enjoy the fresh air, or share meals around the picnic table. Despite the quiet location, Taos Plaza is less than a mile walk away for dining and boutique shopping, while the glittering slopes of Taos Ski Valley are only about 18 miles from your door. This mountainous region also offers endless opportunities for outdoor exploration. For a real outbound adventure, drive just over 60 miles to the stunning Carson National Forest for hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Kit Carson Park is also just more than a half-mile away. This public park has sports facilities, a kids’ playground, and plenty of trees to enjoy the shade with a good book.

A jaw-dropping living area full of color and classic Southwest decor welcomes you. A knotty pine wood armoire features a smart TV, and a window-side desk offers a laptop-friendly spot to catch up on email. A spacious kitchen features a full suite of appliances, including a gas range) and a generous supply of glassware, dishes, and cookware.

Tile floors and wood ceilings feature in the inviting main bedroom with an en suite bathroom that has a walk-in shower and eye-catching blue tile work. A guest bathroom features more lovely patterned tiles in vibrant colors.

Great place in Taos

My family came to Taos for a short vacation and stayed here. Great place to base out of for Northern New Mexico sights. The house was well equipped and even though it didn’t have an air conditioner, the breeze and ceiling fans cooled the place sufficiently.Great communications with the management company. I would stay here again if I’m ever back this way!

Fairly easy access to lots of shopping and restaurants

If we were younger we would have walked to the historic plaza. No big deal to drive the five or so blocks. Nice quiet neighborhood. The back yard and Mountain View is fantastic. Very tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. I will recommend this place to family & friends.

Weekend Getaway

In town for some late season skiing. Convenient location to town and skiing both Taos and Angel Fire. Beds were very comfortable and neighborhood was quiet. Only drawback was weak wifi but I understand that can be challenging in adobe houses. Thanks again!

Location, location, location - Taos NM

Great property, very roomy and comfy and in close to the Taos plaza as well as a short drive to Ski Valley. My only recommendation for improvement would be to upgrade internet speed and security. I was not able to use the Internet on several of my devices due to low security settings on the router and overall slow speed.

Hidden Treasure in Taos!

The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. It is truly one of the most beautiful vacation homes we’ve stayed in. A historic treasure with warm toned hardwood floors, beautiful hand painted tile accents in the bathrooms and kitchen, lovely redone antique furnishings throughout and stunning local paintings and decor. The beds were super comfy as well. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay.

Thanksgiving holiday

We spent thanksgiving week(Tuesday-Saturday) in Taos. Weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible. The house was okay for the 6 of us as we brought a blow-up bed. Some of the cooking utensils and pans could definitely be updated; but outside of that everything was great!!!!

Lovely home near town square

Lovely home; nicely furnished. Comfortable beds. Good backyard. Pretty flower garden in the front. We felt safe in the neighborhood walking the dog at night. We were two parents, two 14-year olds, one grandparent, and one dog; the house was plenty big enough for all of us for two weeks. Late sleepers might like the early risers to take the king bed nearest the kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying here. It was close to the plaza and shopping (and the cinnamon rolls at Michael's Kitchen!) and in a great neighborhood. It was so nice to sit on the back deck to enjoy the view, and the house was cute and had everything we needed.
