Good location, lovely town, parking a bonus, although there's also lots of free parking in the town as well.
Old building, so slightly quirky and old fashioned accommodation but I actually liked that. Clean, superb bed. Room I was in was above road, so it was a bit noisy with deliveries etc the following morning, but again, didn't detract from my stay, personally.
Staff were absolutely lovely, including in the bar, and drinks were a sensible price. Breakfast was a continental style one, but very tasty and more than enough to start the day. Overall, very good value for the money, I'd say, especially on a deal like I had from a booking site (very late making a decision, so perhaps they were keen not to have empty rooms?)
