Casa Luna – A Modern Lake Huron Retreat with a dash of Puerto Rican Soul (I’m originally from Puerto Rico â˜ș).

This is our family’s beach house on the Sunrise Side of Lake Huron—where the sparkling water and sugar sand feel like the hidden beaches of Puerto Rico
 but right here in Michigan!

Set on 1 acre of peaceful wooded land with 50 feet of private shoreline, Casa Luna has been completely renovated from top to bottom to blend modern comfort with natural beauty. Every detail has been thoughtfully updated: new plumbing, electrical, insulation, windows, drywall, furnace, central A/C, and more. All furnishings and appliances are updated —including beds, linens, cozy sectional, dining set, fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. Even the kitchen accessories and cookware are fresh and fully stocked.

Step outside to the lakeside deck for morning coffee or sunset dinners. Walk down to the sugar sand beach, where the water slopes gently and safely—perfect for kids to wade and play. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit under the stars and watch the moon reflect off the lake—the magical moment that gave Casa Luna its name.

Inside, you’ll enjoy high-speed WiFi, a smart TV with cable, full-size washer and dryer, and plenty of towels for your stay. In the winter, the frozen lake views are breathtaking and serene.

Located just north of East Tawas and south of Oscoda, you’re close to dining, hiking, golf, and more—but with enough space and quiet to feel like a true escape.

Casa Luna is our home away from home, and we hope to build a community of repeat guests who love it just as much as we do. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, you’ll quickly see why this place is so special.

This is our second girls' weekend at Casa Luna. The house is very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view and the location is great. Close to Oscoda and Tawas. Clean walkable beach. The host was great, quick to respond and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

The property was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions or issues.The only issue we had was the grill. The grates were very rusty, and it would not light. Either it was out of gas or not working. Since it was an early spring visit it probably had not been looked at since fall.

We spent a girls trip in this beautiful property. There were 4 of us and it was perfect. Very clean, comfortable furniture, extremely comfortable mattresses and the view is nothing other than amazing. Our weather was in the 50ies and windy. We did not care and still went down to the beach. To drink your coffee in the morning to this stunning view is priceless. We will definitly return. The communication with the owners was flawless.Highly recommend!

Casa Luna was the perfect location for a lovely girls getaway. The property is well maintained and the hosts had anticipated all of our needs. This is a great property. Being right on the lake gave our kids (3,7,9) plenty to do. We loved having the kayaks and beach toys. The cottage itself was the perfect size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

Casa Luna is a perfect beach getaway! It is quite possible the best “stocked” rental we’ve ever had - we truly wanted for nothing - and the property is spectacular. We literally walked out onto our own gorgeous private beach. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, and we enjoyed every minute! This was our third stay at the cottage, and we can’t wait to come back!

Thank you Ivonne and Bernie for wonderful hospitality at Casa Luna. Very, very clean and well kept! Beautifully decorated. Comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked, laundry room was well stocked and bathrooms had plenty of towels. Lots of beach towels too! Awesome view.
