New paint inside and out. New light fixtures and ceiling fans as well as can lighting. Featuring granite in the kitchen with breakfast bar new stainless appliances including the fridge. New privacy fence. Really large landscaped back yard. New electric and plumbing. Tankless hot water heater and filtered water system throughout the house. This is a very nice property, on the inside. It's a shame that for our stay at least, it was not managed properly or serviced to a bare minimum standard. Communication was extremely poor. No check in info message either the day before or the morning of arrival I got a door code, but had to follow up with a text to get the address. Upon entry there was no house book or info, including the WiFi info. Had to text again for that, took a second text to get a response finally, two hours later (!) Housekeeping - hardly any toilet paper. Nearly empty rolls in both bathrooms, no spare rolls stocked. I finally found one roll in the back of closet. There was a sign in one bathroom that says "Text if you need TP!" Really? Is it rationed?There was no soap or shampoo stocked in either shower, found some by digging into various closets. Dirty fridge shelving. Nice antique bed that was so loud, creaky, it woke up my wife whenever I slightly moved (easy handyperson fix). The house is very nicely remodeled inside. Outside was a bit shabby with overgrown weedy beds, broken tree branches, unswept porches, dirty porch furniture, broken fence gate.I don't like to do negative reviews and there is a lot to like about this property. I just write this in the hopes that the management and the housekeeper will do better by the next guests. We come to Taylor often and they missed an opportunity with us for repeat business. We just had to do too much of the work that they should be doing.

This was hands down the cutest VRBO I've stayed in! The owner was very responsive and helpful. I only had one complaint and that was the bed felt really rickety...we were afraid every time we turned over that it was going to collapse - and it was HIGH - you needed a step stool to get into it. Not really perfect for my husband with bad knees.But overall it was wonderful! Thanks again Rethanne for such a wonderful accomodation!

This was the perfect house for our 3 nights in Taylor. The house is so cute, and it had everything we needed. Rethann was a great host too. (By the way there are some very good restaurants in Taylor) We very much enjoyed our stay.

Central Texas

Parts of Taylor Tx are going thru a gentrification. Don't let an old established town that has had homes past down thru generations make your overall decision. Lots of good things happening in the Hutto, Taylor area.

Lovely little place

House was very clean and tidy, spacious and inviting . The bed in the main bedroom would be my only complaint as it was super tall lolThe area is an older neighborhood but I felt very comfortable being there . I come to Taylor TX 3-4 times a year and will definitely use this place again.

AWESOME!!!

We absolutely Loved staying here! The owner was super awesome, we had a little problem with our work schedule and the booking time, she was very understanding and accommodating for us and went above and beyond! The home is charming & quaint, not a lot of traffic on the streets and was very quiet in the neighborhood. Amenities were great everything you needed to cook with, felt like being home this was a huge plus for us. My husband and I were there for work, the location was great for us. There were many places to go and see, a little of everything for shopping & dining. I loved that there was a shop downtown that sold sustainable products, as I use natural products and buy organic whenever I can, go check them out and book your next stay here, that is if I don't beat you to it first, we will be staying here again as we come to work here often.

The Little Gem of Taylor

What a great property! It was very clean and comfortable. There is an alarm on the home so it adds a little additional comfort and security if you are traveling to a new place. We would gladly stay again and highly recommend to others.
