Affordable Pet-Friendly Hotel Room With King Bed

Affordable and Convenient - the Mountainside Inn is walking distance to historic downtown Telluride and just 200 yards from the Coonskin Ski Lift.

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This hotel room has a king bed that can be split into two twins if desired. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, wifi, mini-fridge and small microwave, fan, humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and hairdryer.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

Perfect Telluride location for my budget. Learned the hot tub was down AFTER booking on VRBO. Probably should update the VRBO listing to reflect hot tub down. I would have cancelled, but this listing had a no cancellation policy so I was stuck without a hot tub after a day of aggressive skiing. All else wonderful!

Not a terrible experience- check in needs help

The overall stay wasn’t the worst, and it’s the only affordable option in Telluride if you aren’t looking to spend $1000 a night- the price for one night is still pretty steep. The check in process was absolutely terrible and the elderly lady at the front should not be working there and had the WORST attitude. Other than that it was a typical hotel stay. It was clean, there were towels. Online it says there is a hot tub but that was listed onsite as out of order. Very good location to walk around the town- free parking which was nice.
