I will list the few positives first. The kitchen was fully equipped. The upstairs common room furniture was very comfortable and the large screen TV was great for watching the ball games. Comfortable and clean beds. Good gathering spaces.However, the fireplace did not turn on from the wall switch, the refrigerator upstairs made a loud and fluctuation noise, making it difficult to sleep in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. The fridge part worked fine, but the freezer did not work and water had pooled into it, not to mention it was somewhat unclean. Fridge downstairs worked fine, but inconvenient for cooking. There was an open hole in the wall for the electrical unit for the TV (unsafe). Most of the windows upstairs could not be opened and broken window hinge in upstairs bathroom when opened. The microwave oven had been repaired with duct tape at the top but the duct tape was no longer attached and was covered in grease. Downstairs, empty water bottles in downstairs closet. Not enough hand towels or face clothes provided. Only 2 hand towels and one face cloth per bathroom to service all the guests.Suggestions:1. Thorough cleaning.2. Repairs on all things broken or unsafe.3. Night lamps required on all bedside tables.4. Guest booklet or welcome package.5. Easier access for contact if issues arise.

An amazing stay and an even better host!

We (a group of about 16) had an amazing time staying at this chalet for our second year in a row now!! Everything was very clean when we arrived and the host was very responsive! We had a minor issue with the hot water but after telling the host, they had a plumber on-site immediately and they very quickly resolved the issue! We’ll definitely be back next year again! :)

A group of 15 friends stayed at this property for three nights. The 8 bedroom home fit us well. We were able to store our 4 bikes inside but it was a bit awkward since there were stairs up to the front door. The kitchen and dining room fit us well. We could have used a few more dishes and cutlery. The hot tub was a hit. Hot water in the showers was a bit hit and miss. The location was great for our planned hikes on the Bruce trail and there was easy access via Monterra Road to the Georgian trail for biking. More shelves, hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms would have been appreciated. We would stay here again.

Major need of General Maintenance/Upkeep

The property at 107 Pilsen Way is far from the 8 BR Mountainside Bliss as described! It has significant maintenance and safety concerns. No exterior lights functioned. Maintenance discovered bulb replacement would not resolve the lighting issue and advised replacement fixtures were required but approval from the property owner was needed to proceed and likely would not occur during our stay. One of the showers had the shower head sitting on the side of the tub as well as a large chip out of one of the floor tiles. The shower head was replaced but, the floor tile was left “as is”. The front & rear stairs on the main floor were not level and a trip hazard particularly at dusk without functioning lights! The exterior stairs to the upper level were in very poor condition and lacked lighting as well. The gas grill was in poor condition with rotted out heat deflectors and a rusted side grill. Maintenance staff advised they recommended replacement to the owner but, they did not receive authorization. Maintenance was asked to light the pilot on the gas fireplace but we were told “read your contract it is not in season” and refused to light it. The property manager was contacted regarding this response and confirmed there was no specific season for fireplace use. Maintenance did not return to address the issue. I would definitely not rent this particular unit in the future. Overall we were extremely disappointed!

Jamie and the team went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were looked after and provided great suggestions for the area. The house was clean and spacious. Exactly as advertised! Would not hesitate to rent from them again!

Girls weekend

Our group had a wonderful stay, we would definitely stay here again. Jamie and Jason were very helpful when we had an issue with the door someone came immediately to take care of it. It was nice not having to bring all the extras such as linens, towels, toilet paper, and kitchen items. Lots of space, and having so many bathrooms was great for such a large group!

Great Stay with Some Room for Improvement: Honest Review

Our stay was great overall! The property comfortably accommodated our group of 15, with extra room. The space was very clean. There is room for improvement. Property only parks 6 cars. I was told the day of when cars were already on way. We found more parking nearby but it would have been good to know beforehand so we could plan better. It says the table accommodates 20 people, it was more like 10-12 people. We added another table to the end and it still felt cramped. It says kitchen is equipped for cooking, but it lacked some basics - no oven mitts/tinfoil/parchment paper. There was an oil spill in the oven from the previous group that we had to clean. The BBQ was ruled out because the propane tanks were empty. Had I known I would have brought one. The fireplace was broken. Jamie, one of the managers, came over immediately to assess. It needed a new part and was out for the duration of our stay – happens but was disappointing. We still had a great stay. The bedrooms were spacious. The hot tub was a favorite. The village was a 20-minute walk (with a couple shortcuts) which was really convenient. The check-in process was smooth. I appreciated the flexibility during checkout. The hosts granted my request for a later checkout, which was helpful in wrapping up without feeling rushed. Communication was good, the hosts periodically checked-in throughout our stay. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement, we had a fantastic time and would happily return.

Communication Difficult but Nice property

the property was dated but clean. Very spacious and situated in a great location. Had a difficult time early on, communicating with manager. Even though we were provided 4 methods of communication,unaware to us, they only use Vrbo messaging. We were happy with the property once we got there and would use it again, as the price was good. We only wish the noise rules were enforced with houses nearby. Could not enjoy the patio due to excessive noise from other renters nearby.
