Great location, just off the highway 17

Traveling east to west, different hotel each night. This was a nice quiet stay. We had stayed here travelling west to east, this time our stay was much better and nicer.

The room was clean except the bathroom. There was hair on the toilet and in the shower. The front desk check-in person was kind, but while I waited my turn to check in, it was noticeable that the floors needed a good sweep as well. The wifi was easy to use and my bed was comfortable.

Rinon is the BEST!!!

It was absolutely amazing! We are from MN and we were touring the waterfalls from Gooseberry up to Thunder Bay. So Wednesday the day we were checking into Valhalla we had been doing a lot of hiking and ready to relax for the evening. We showed up about 9pm. Rinon at the front desk was very sweet and easy to talk to. He asked about our day what we had been doing, we told him about all of our hiking. He responded with your all checked in and you'll have a surprise in your room. Well he up graded us from a single king room to the jacuzzi sweet, We were so surprised we couldn't believe it. That was the topping on the cake of our 36th wedding anniversary trip we told Rinon later. It was a like a dream that kind of stuff doesn't happen to us. Thanks again Rinon you are the best!!!

Nice place until you walk down the hallways to the rooms.....don't think they have vacuumed the carpet for weeks down the halls. Marks all over the hallways and even coffee spilled on the entry wall in our room and not even wiped off. AC unit worked well but had the loudest fan noise constantly turning on in the night...sleep is constantly interrupted. Very warm pool, kids enjoyed that. Good location. Upon arrival no explanation of hours of pool or restaurant and did not ask how our stay was when we left. No interaction with guests at all.
