Self-contained gîte located South-West of Lyon, 300m from the center of the village of Thurins (with shops). The garden is adjoining that of the owners. Very warm welcome (welcome gift, small provisions and a kit with cleaning products offered on arrival). Separate access. Character interior, tastefully renovated. On the ground floor (2 steps for access from garden) : living room (kitchen / dining / lounge areas), shower room including Wc. Upstairs : 2 interconnecting rooms (1 bedroom with single bed, 1 large bedroom with relaxing area and 2 single beds or 180 cm large bed as needed). Baby equipment on request : travel cot, high chair, pot, bathtube, tableware. Outdoors : the small garden with flowers and trees is a real haven of peace (deck chair, sunshade, bench), shaded terrace (not adjoining) with garden furniture, beautiful views of the countryside, parking in the immediate vicinity (pedestrian access from the garden). Many walks to do from the gîte (owners are fond of hiking and may advise you about trails). Bus line to Lyon 300m away ('City Hall' stop). Charging station for electric vehicles in the village, 500m away. St Jacques de Compostella pilgrim route 650m away. Yzeron plateau (with many leisure activities) 7,5 km. Zoo of Courzieu 18 km.
