I got the same high quality standard APA Hotel room experience here as well. APA is my go to Hotel in Japan. Public bath is amazing. Many good shops surrounding this area. Very close to train station.

This is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Still, ot met our needs and the price was right. Its close to the subway and walking distance to several good resturants.

Nice property. The room I had was for one person. Real small but it was all I needed. It has a mini fridge in the room. Also comes with one free bottle of water. Stayed 3 nights. They don’t do service on the room but bring fresh towels and robes every day and hang them on your door. The hotel is in close proximity to many things. Downtown Shinjuku is walking distance about 20 minutes. The subway is a 2 minute walk. There are several restaurants and grocery shops on the street. The subway is easy to use and get around. I would stay here again! Note: check in is at 3pm and they don’t check in earlier. But they do hold your luggage so you can explore the city.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It's in a great area that has restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance. The bus and subway station was a 2 minutes walk away. The only confusion we had in the first day or two was their air-conditioning system. They sent us a notice that the room air conditioning was part of the central system and that we couldn't control it in each room, but that wasn't true. After the 2nd day we found that we could control our room air conditioning system,and so we were able to set the temperature to our liking at night when we returned from our outings. There were other on-site amenities like public baths and coin laundry machines, but we did not use them.

This stay was comfy and fantastic! However, i have some feedback that needs attention: it says nothing about Tattoos not being allowed in the public bath on any expedia information. As it didn’t have an online notice i booked the hotel thinking it would be okay to have tattoos, but there was a sign about tattoos in the public bath. This puts me as the customer in a position where i must break the rules (to get the amenity i paid for) OR demand a refund. It was an overnight stay and the bath was empty so it was okay but somethings needs to be done to resolve this. Additionally, it makes no sense that having tattoos would be in the same category of bath etiquette violation as not showering before you get in the bath or dragging your hair through the water...
