The hotel is new, the entrance is as grand as can be with a self service check in method. Rooms are quite small as you would expect in major Japanese cities. The rooftop pool and sun lounging area isn’t included in the booking price you have to book it at reception for an extra fee.

Great stay in Tokyo – highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. While the room was quite small – which is very typical for Tokyo – it was extremely clean, functional, and well-organized. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the space was used efficiently. The location is fantastic, close to public transport, restaurants, and convenience stores, making it very easy to get around the city. The staff were polite, professional, and always willing to help. We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but everything else exceeded our expectations for the price. Despite the compact room, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again on a future trip to Tokyo.

Practical and comfortable with charm

This hotel is a clean and comfortable place to stay. Well it has very few extras. It has a surprisingly nice set of services. Most things are taken care of yourself such as vending drinks, and snacks and a laundry room. Cleaning service is every third day but each night the staff puts clean towels and a clean robe in a bag outside your door and you only have to put your used ones in the same bag for them to exchange. The really nice feature are the Japanese baths and spa area slippers and robes are provided.

I both liked and disliked this property. It’s smart, clean, modern, very large, has a spa pool which was very good but it’s clearly aimed at English language guests. Everything from the default channel on the tv being BBC World News to the rather uncertain Irish pub on the ground floor called the “Peter Cole”. Googling the name did not reveal a Peter Cole of any significance. The pub was fine, I ate in there each morning for breakfast, wide choice of food both Japanese and alternatives like cereals. I had two evening meals which were basic but perfectly satisfactory. Although clean, smart, right opposite he station I’m not sure about hotels clear bias towards English. I’d probably stay again.

Fantastic hotel and location! Highly recommend staying here. The public bath is a great benefit that most hotels don’t have, especially for the price. Location is close to shinjuku so it’s easy to get anywhere. The local station is just across the street and the neighborhood is quiet, safe, and clean. I also stayed at APA Roppongi Six and this hotel was much better. Stay here.
