The view was absolutely beautiful. The amenities were clean and modern. The only suggestion is to extend the pool hours as this was a big attraction but we weren’t able to use it as it was often closed.

Location was convenient. Hotel is spectacular, albeit a little dated. We were disappointed that the pool was undergoing repairs and were not able to use it… considering the weather in Tokyo. Service was excellent and everyone was very welcoming.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The absolute best hotel. I was telling my kids that this is very similar to a four seasons, it is so beautiful. There are so many little shops that is so comfortable. The amenities are wonderful, we just happen to have a very nice semi circular corner room, which was on the 30th fifth floor so the view is spectacular. I have stayed in so many hotels and have been fortunate to travel all over the world and this was our absolute favorite by far. The espresso machines in the room were an amazing touch, all the amenities as mentioned, access to great places nearby, there’s a grocery store on the first level if you need it, 711 of course nearby, I think like 15 or 20 restaurants in the actual hotel itself, a fantastic pool, which I believe is rare in Japan, but I’m not sure on that one because this is our first trip, a restaurant that faces their Japanese garden, which is also amazing, a restaurant on one of the higher floors with an even better view, Bar, incredible attention to Detail. This was an incredible experience and if you find the price to be in your range, then you should definitely stay here, I don’t recommend staying less than two nights, however because there’s just so much to do. Ideally, it would be three nights or more. I was here with my husband and two kids who are teenagers and it’s unanimous this place was amazing.

The view from the room and the garden are amazing. Sadly, that was all that was amazing. The free breakfast was ok. You get 3 places to choose from, a traditional Japanese breakfast restaurant, a small breakfast buffet, and a medium sized breakfast buffet. The huge breakfast buffet shown in the photos costs an extra $20 per person! We did not try it and stuck with the free medium option. There was an acceptable selection of food options and the food was generally ok. Not great as expected from a hotel of this level, just mediocre. There is not an omelette station. This was disappointing. The individual food items were not at the quality expected for what this hotel represents. Combined with the room experience and this hotel leaves you with a 2 star hotel wrapped in 4 star wrapping paper. The grounds around the hotel are amazing. The rooms were extremely lacking in proper repair and maintenance. Repairs were poorly performed. There was rough patch work in places, lack of caulking in the tub. The provided body wash and shampoo was of the type you would get at a cheap motel in the states. Our room was spacious with a great view, but otherwise felt almost like a bait and switch. The shops and restaurants all match with what you would expect from this caliber of hotel, with prices to match. It is truly disappointing how they are neglecting the rooms.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in June 2025. What we liked the most about this hotel was the ambience and the view. The room was also quite clean, and then room service was good. What we did not like about it is as follows: 1) they charge extra for breakfast for guests 5 yrs old and younger. At least in one other hotel in Japan we used the breakfast was free for young kids 2) while this hotel is close to the metro stations, it is not close to the convenience stores like 7-11, everything close by this hotel and in the building is very expensive. 3) the reception staff could not speak English very well, so was difficult communicating with them!
