I'll start with the cons. It is a small room, but I expected it. If you have a large suitcase or two, you will have little room to move around. My Tetris skills finally have a use. Pros. 1. Location. Close to a train station - Hijashi-Shinjuku. Perfect for getting to and leaving the hotel. Literally almost at the door step. The main Shinjuku station is within walkable distance too.- but not one you want to walk with your suitcases. But perfect to walk and sightsee to and from the hotel. Staff - Friendly and professional. Room/facilities - Clean. Enough power outlets. Light switches were handy. Bed was comfy. Provided amenities such as toiletries, tea and coffee. Tea maker and fridge in each room. Microwave and washer and dryer on site. Great for doing a load of laundry. There's even a clothes heat presser. I was not lacking in anything. I felt safe. It was quiet. Guests were also similarly aged/types. I think it is good for families. There are 7-11 and restaurants near by too, for those meals you don't want to go out to get. The Taiwanese restaurant across the road was tasty!

I didn't like the room we stayed. It is very tiny space for two person with 2 large luggage. Room smells not so good. Mattress is not fixed.

It was my first time in Japan, and staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn helped make it a wonderful experience. The amenities were wonderful (laundry, take what you need toiletries) and the staff were so helpful when it came to forwarding my luggage. I would stay here again if I ever come back to the Tokyo area.

All the staff were nice. Very clean. A lot of free stuffs in the lobby. What I did not like is the bed and the pillows. As if We were laying on a box spring and I don’t know how to describe the pillow. It was hard and not comfortable at all.

A curved shower curtain rod, or setting the existing curtain rod an inch or two out will go a long way in creating space in the shower area with compromising lavatory space.

Les chambres sont petites. Pas la place d’ouveir une valise. Le robinet de douche restait coincé à une position trop chaude pour moi. Impossible de baisser davantage. Localisation proche de Shinjuku, mais dans un secteur plus tranquille. La liaison de métro avec Shinjuku n’est pas facile.

Great Hotel, very friendly staff, location is amazing, very close to Higashi Shinjuku station and the lines at that station take you to a lot of the popular places like central shinjuku, shibuya, ginza and connect to any other lines you’ll need too, 7/11, Lawsons and CoCo curry house are also very close! Great hotel will be staying here again on my next visit!
