Fantastic staff. Area is quiet but located in a convenient area with quick access to the trail station to get around anywhere you need, or a quick walk to Akiba or Ueno for activities.
This was our second time visiting ICI hotel in Asakusabashi. It is our favourite place to stay whenever we visit Tokyo. It provides exactly what we need; a nice clean room that is super close to Akihabara. The service goes above and beyond and it is in a very convenient location. I will always recommend this hotel! Thank you once again ICI : )
An amazing stay here. A lesser know place to stay in Tokyo but the station is 2 mins walk away so you can get into the more popular places very quickly. Staff are very friendly, rooms decent sized with good bathroom. Lots of convenient shops as well as restaurants around too.
A stylish, compact hotel in a neighborhood that’s maybe not the most enchanting for tourists, but is sufficiently well connected with transit, and is walking distance from Akihabara.
It’s very dog friendly. I’m a cat person, but it was kinda cute seeing how excited the ground floor staff got over other guests’ dogs. If you needed a hotel for you and your dog in the area, this would be a very easy recommendation.
Morning breakfast was great, and good value. It’s a small detail, but the breads/bagels were some of the most fresh and delicious I’ve ever had.
Front desk staff were helpful and friendly.
Overall a great stay, though the compactness throughout the hotel may be offputting for some.
Enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They really take care of their customers. I find the location convenient with close proximity to train station, marts or restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood.
It’s close to the train station. The front desk workers were so friendly and helpful. They spoke English and some spoke several other languages. The buffet breakfast was delicious but we were there for over a week so would have appreciated daily changes in what was offered. Although delicious, it was exactly the same everyday. The complimentary tea at night was great! Several convenience stores nearby.
Like many hotels in Japan, our room was very cozy, including the double bed. In such cases, it's not difficult to organize our luggage and stuff we purchased. The room was clean. The bath was in working order. The toilet seat was heated. There were always tea bags (sencha or hōjicha) to take to the room. They even had evening tea with other teas available in to-go cups. The lobby had a nice dining area which was well-lit in the day with many windows. The staff always greeted us and also liked to chat and ask about where we lived in the US. The staff was also very multicultural, coming from several different nations. The hotel is dog-friendly, and though we didn't have our dog, we saw plenty of canine visitors while we were there. The neighborhood was quiet and low-key, though busy parts of Tokyo, like Akihabara, were nearby. Just 5 minutes from the Asakusabashi station was very convenient and there were a lot of good restaurants around the station itself.
Spacious room for a decent price. The staff at the front desk is really helpful and friendly. We already stayed twice in that hotel and we will definitely come back.
Amazing staff and clean hotel! I wish I remembered the woman's name who checked us in, but she was super friendly and explained the details of the hotel thoroughly. It is also a dog friendly hotel, so you'll see a bunch of cute dogs in the lobby. They also sell bottled water at the front desk for only 50 yen :)
We arrived a little early before check-in time, they stored our luggage. When we came back to check-in they had already brought all of our luggage to our room. There are also two washers and dryers on the main floor which was very useful for us.
Great location, literally like a 2 minute walk to Asakusabashi station for the chuo line (yellow line). Then about a 5 minute walk to the other lines. There are a bunch of restaurants and a few coffee shops nearby, plus a 7 eleven across the street and a grocery store next door. It is a bit quiet at night with many places closing relatively early, but just one train stop away from Akihabara and short train ride to Asakusa. It is a bit far from more touristy areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Would still stay again though, great price, clean hotel, and awesome staff!
