Service has deteriorated a lot, not sure if it is the new management or bad economy. Staff Declined to provide a basic toiletry kit. Housekeeping was in a rush to push patrons out before 11:00. Knocking doors even if there was a tag DND tag on. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

The staff was nice at check in. The room was clean, weird musky smell (like dry sweat) in the room though. Bathroom was clean. The bed was lumpy and dipped in the middle. My husband woke up sore. Breakfast was great, the server is soo nice and attentive. She was a really good listener when I asked her questions she knew what I was talking about right away. She was very kind to the person who sitting next to us who was having issues with the menu cause of sensitivities.

Second stay at this hotel in 2025. Easy check in/check out. Updated common areas and rooms. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. No restaurants within walking distance but short 5 min drive to Heartland area where restaurants and shopping is plentiful. Very easy access off hwy 401. Good nightly rate. If this area of the GTA works for you great place to consider.

Overall it was an ok stay. I was a bit alarmed by the urine smell in the hallway on my floor. When I got to my room, someone had very clearly smoked in the room at some point. The washroom could use a deep clean, particularly in the shower behind where the shampoo and conditioner are stored. The Dove products say they are all different (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), but they all felt like they were the same product.
