It was convenient due to an event at the hotel. I stayed the day it was taken over by IGH hotels. The lobby, hallway and other shared areas seemed to be more upscale than the actual rooms. They were ok but needed a bit more attention. (Caulking in the bathtub etc) The staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was phenomenal.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. We spent New Year’s there and were given a room that was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was extremely cold, as the heating did not flow properly. While it would have been enjoyable in the summer, during winter the temperature made the stay uncomfortable

Everything was above average except for the fact that the hotel seems to be transitioning into a “Crown Plaza”. Nowhere on the road signs etc was mention of the “Pan Pacific”. A little confusing.

Expedia says this is a 4 star hotel, but there is no way. I should have known the price was too good to be true for a 4 star. The lobby looks ok, but our room was dingy, poorly lit, and depressing. I wanted to check out the minute I walked in. The fitted sheet on one bed had holes in it. The carpet seemed dirty. The lamp looked like it was going to fall over.
