FILTHY ROOM AND RUDE GM!!

Pros: I booked it with travelocity so they were able to do what the GM should have done and refunded me most of my money. So happy I booked with them.
Cons: I had way more things to write but I ran out of space.
We got in at 6 and told the room type we booked was sold out so we were being upgraded to a suite with 2 rooms. Dropped our bags and left straight away to get my little sister to her concert cut to six hours later (12am) we get back to our room and get a look around. This was the WORST room I have ever been in. The counter in the kitchen was damaged (burn marks). The entire carpet was grimy there were too many stains to count, several black gummy spots, iron burns. The bathroom shower tiles were filthy there were wierd white marks on the side of the tub. The shower head was the darkest yellow I have ever seen. We tried to make the best of it as I assumed there were no other rooms also if this was the upgrade I was scared to ask about another room. I called down at 1am for more towels as we were only given one face cloth and 2 towel sets (for a room with 3 beds???) they never arrived. I barely slept that night I was so embarassed that I booked this room for my family. The next morning the lady at the front was a saint. She was so apologetic and told me that there were no other renovated suites available and she would speak to the manager about a refund. He was to be in that afternoon but i didnt speak to him untill 530. He was very rude he told me that he was there at 12am and I should have just gone down and asked for another room or gotten a refund. I had already been told there were no more new rooms so thats a lie also why would I drag my sister around Toronto at 1am?

I would not recommend this hotel

Cons: No free Internet
The staff was rude to us, there were no toiletries and I requested some but was not given any. I also had almost $100 CDN go missing from the room. I called shortly after exiting the hotel and was told there was no money left in the room. I would never advise anyone to stay at this hotel.

Property is recently renovated. It smelled a little freshly painted still. Conveniently located and to subway and shopping. Staff very informative and attentive if needed.

Hi J, Thank you for your kind review. I suppose we were a little TOO excited to show off our renovations, so thank you for managing with the paint smell. Thanks for choosing the Town Inn Suites, and look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit to Toronto.

Great Home Away From Home!

Pros: Staff,accommodation,location, and amenities
Cons: Nothing.
Location: I did above
Stayed here last year and was delighted to see Daniel and Ruby behind the desk when I arrived! I was dropped off before noon with my luggage and was surprised and so very happy that they were able to accommodate my check in immediately.... They also upgraded my room to provide a washer/dryer! The renovation I experienced some of last year but the new exterior door and windows made the room soundproof in spite of construction nereby.. For the first time ever a hotel delivered a gift basket to my room! What a wonderful surprise! Certainly makes a guest feel special. The full kitchen makes a huge difference in having the comforts of home. There is a boutique supermarket on Boor St Longos, about a five minute walk from the hotel. Asparagus with hollandaise, veal marinara and a risotto asiago cake ready to warm up for $10.00. The subway at Bloor and Yonge St. is less than a ten minute walk. You couldn't ask for a better location near Yorkville, dept stores and Toronto·s finest shops. My stay could not have been better!

Sub standard hotel in a great location

Despite the negative reviews I decided to go ahead and book this hotel because of the location. The hallways stink as does the bedroom. Tiles are peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The bathroom wasn't well cleaned and neither was the kitchen. I did use their laundry facility in the basement which was acceptable. If you're looking for amenities like a kitchen, I would suggest going with a reputed hotel chain even if its slightly further away. This hotel should be a complete no no.

Good location and value

Pros: downtown location
Cons: could have been renovated
The location of the hotel was its best asset. The rooms could have been renovated and were not as clean as I would have liked but had many positive qualities. Besides location, other positives include: value; pool; two rooms; small kitchen; underground parking (old and low ceiling); and a balcony. I would return and recommend this hotel. My priorities when searching for a hotel were location, value, pool, and two rooms. This hotel met my requirements and all four of us were satisfied.

Bad hotel

The guy manager is a jerk. The check-in staff is nice though. The elevators are terribly slow. You have to wait at least 10 minutes to get one. Housekeeping doesn't do a good job. Sometimes they don't show up.

Not very nice

We stayed in Feb of 2009. Room was run down and dirty looking. Balcony was under construction and could not access. Staff did not speak English very well. Breakfast was a choice of prepackaged muffins or fruit. No TV in bedroom (in living room area only). Parking cost was very high and not included in room rates.

Hotel Disaster

The Hotel was horrible. the people at the front desk barely spoke English. They were not friendly, there answer to my breakfast problem was I should go to a store down the block. The manager was not there to talk to. He does not come in until eleven in the morning. I would not stay at this hotel again. We left in the middle of our stay and changed hotels.
