‱Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May;
‱Winter travel requires snow tires and 4WD/AWD, or chains;

Place was great but did not realize there is not air conditioning and we were there in a heat wave. The house is equipped with fans which was helpful.Please add this information to listing stats if it is not there already. otherwise the house was well stocked and good location.

Exceptional home

Well-appointed, warm, comfortable home. Appreciated garage entry and parking during rain/snow season. Excellent location very close to downtown Truckee, Raley’s, restaurants, and Northstar. Everything we hoped for and more!

Perfect Family Vacation & Great Location

Great, quiet neighborhood with easy access to all that Tahoe has to offer. Very convenient to Sawtooth Trail for hiking and MTB as well as Truckee River Trail. Easy walk to downtown Truckee and restaurants off Brockway Road. In winter close to Northstar and other skit resorts. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked to cook meals as desired, and it has modern appliances. Great supply of fans in hotter weather. Property manager was responsive to our needs. Upon arrival we thought it odd that there was only keycode access to the garage with no key. This was a minor inconvenience until a thunderstorm and power outage of 3 hours left us locked in without a way to safely and securely leave (it could have been worse -- we could have been locked out). Property Management was responsive, even though it was a SAT, but didn't have a key either. It was resolved in about 40 minutes but suggest inquiring to make sure that they have added a lock box with key prior to renting (they told us they would be resolving this after our stay). Only other suggestion is to offer a fresh sponge in the kitchen for each new guest. Overall, we would come back and stay again!

Great house very clean

The house was very enjoyable to stay at. Well stocked kitchen for dishes and cookware. Beds were comfy and great location. Also very clean. If staying during summer there is no AC but they provided fans which were very helpful.

Beautiful house, great location

Stayed up here for a long weekend. The house is in a great location to get around Truckee on foot or bike. The beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of space for us. Would recommend!

Absolutely delightful

This home was so nice. It was extremely comfortable and well cared for. The whole neighborhood is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting out on the front and back porches amongst the giant trees and beautiful flowers. The beds were very cozy and the kitchen supplies were well stocked. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Loved My Stay at Wintercreek

This was my first time at this residence but I had stayed in this development for several years in the past. This far surpassed my previous experience. Wintercreek is close to the Truckee Regional Park and Downtown which is great and a short drive to other attactions. The home is very comfortable and my party was very happy with the home. Lovely kitchen, homey family room and all said that the beds were very comfortable. I definitely recommend this home and would love to stay here again soon.

Wintercreek Vacation Home is well-located in a quiet area - minutes from 2 ski resorts and Town!

Property was clean, spacious and well-appointed. It was in a nice area for walks... and indeed one could walk to downtown Truckee. Property manager was kind and responsive. A nice stay!
