Avis pour Desert Nest Retreat âą Firepit âą Free Parking
Our first clue was when we approached the house and found the front yard was dirt covered with weeds. The house was raw and the kitchen was poorly equipped. The bathroom door would not shut unless you slammed it really loudly. The closets were covered with curtains, not doors. The beds had very bad mattresses, not up to what you normally find today even at Motel 6. We had a one night stay and when we got up in the morning, we had no hot water. The landlord said he would send someone immediately but no one came. Later, we asked for some sort of refund and he claimed the water had never been cold. We let it run from both faucets separately for 20 minutes and neither of them ever gave us hot water. So we paid him full price but had to take an ice cold shower. That's just wrong. Also, they hit you with a separate pet fee after you reserve the property, before you get check-in instructions. Why not be upfront and include it with VRBO summary? This was our worst ever VRBO experience.
Neighborhood was very loud with motorcyclesracing up and down the street all night long. Didnât get much sleep due to the noise. Cute house though and clean. The bed comfortable. The bathroom is very small but clean and the shower works fine. Kitchen efficient but I would have liked someKind of kitchen oil and an extra coffee pod or two.
