We chose this house because it seemed to be able to accommodate 11 older teens and adult adults comfortably. The bedrooms upstairs were great for 2 couples and two kids- and the room downstairs slept three boys comfortably. There was some confusion on the outhouse sleeping accommodations based upon the listing. Itâs actually a queen sleeper sofa that is super uncomfortable. Luckily, we had asked for a blowup mattress and they accommodated us for one girl to sleep there and the other on the couch. The shower in that space is very small as well as the bathroom, so we had to have 2 extra people shower and get ready in the master bathroom upstairs. The main part of the house was great for our three families to cook and hang out. The dock is good for fishing, but most of the decking down there in the larger space needs to be replaced or nailed down, the pictures are definitely older. The door on the upper back porch was hard to keep closed and locked.Front porch space is nice to sit and watch the sunset.Outdoor yard games were nice to have, but be warned there are little crabs everywhere and some big bugs that bothered a few in our group.Location was OK, a short ride to downtown and a 10 to 15 minute golf cart trip.I thought we would be OK without having a pool, but we really wished we had one in the summer heat.
My family loved this property and would definitely stay again. It was beautiful and comfortable and decently appointed. My only complaints would be that the ground level floor bathroom was not as clean as the rest of the house and all the tv remotes but 2, had dead batteries. Otherwise it was perfect and I would definitely stay again.
Plenty of room and huge outdoor place. My young adults loved the game area. Clean and kitchen had plenty of plates and cups. Only negative across from 4H camp and youth can be loud during day. Hope to go back again.
