Historic 1940's Beach Cottage, steps to the beach!

This 3br 2bth sleeps 8! Fully equipped and just 30 seconds from walking over the dunes and on to the beach. Close to restaurants, surf shops etc. Please read our many excellent reviews! Heated oversized spa in backyard allows pool like/spa relaxation after the beach. Roof top deck over looking the Atlantic ocean. Look for off season specials. June and July are Saturday to Saturday 1 week rentals. All other months are flexible.

I cannot recommend this stay due to major maintenance and communication issues. Upon arrival, the hot tub was bright green and covered in scum. I spent two hours of my own vacation time cleaning and skimming it just to make it usable for my family.To make matters worse, there was undisclosed active construction next door. Despite leaving the property in better shape than I found it, the host was unprofessional regarding the checkout process. For the price, the stress and lack of maintenance are not worth it.

Let's start with the good, the location was great a dead end road so it was quite. The kids loved the short walk to the beach. The hot tub was nice. Now for the problems, none of them are big alone but The fact that there was this many made my review not as good. The shower curtain in the back bathroom has mold on it. There were no hand or dish towels. The HVAC vents were very rusty and looked rough. The washer sounded terrible when it ran. The door knob was falling off. Lastly some of the light bulbs were burned out.

We had a lovely stay! The location was so close to the beach and the cottage was very cosy. It was clean and stocked with anything we could need. Todd was easy to communicate with when we had a few questions. We would definitely stay there again, and hopefully next time the weather will cooperate too! I imagine in the high season it would be perfect to be out of the fray just enough yet close to activities on the south end of the island. Highly recommend!

Adorable vintage cottage! Well stocked with beach chairs and toys. Very large hot tub. Backyard fire pit was a great addition for those cool evenings. Short 20 minute drive to downtown Savannah.

We had such a lovely stay at this darling beach cottage! We stayed over Christmas and had a wonderful time exploring Tybee Island and Savannah. The home was clean, comfortable, and located in a great area. It was literally a one minute walk to the beach! Beach was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed watching the sunrises/sunsets. The cottage had all the comforts of home. The property owner was kind and answered any questions we had. We are already talking about when we can come back! Five stars for sure!

We had a great stay. Beach access was very convenient, and the house was clean and just as described. Check-in was easy, and communication with the host was good. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The house is also close to restaurants. We are looking forward to our next stay.

We had such a pleasant stay at this cottage. The host has stocked the property very well. There was not one time that I thought "I wish I had" due to the fact that it was there already. The cottage was clean when we arrived and had a homey atmosphere. Hot tube and fire pit were amazing. Met the host when we arrived. Very nice. Found out he has other rental properties that we would like to check out and would definitely stay at this property again. I highly recommend this host and property for your next stay on Tybee Island.

We loved our stay at the beach cottage this fall break! The walk to the beach was quick and beautiful (just watch out for burrs!), and the rooftop deck was perfect for watching the sunrise and looking at stars. The hot tub was perfect as the nights got chillier, and Todd was quick to respond and attentive to needs. Overall, this was just a great experience for us. We especially loved the access to bikes and beach toys and had fun walking around the corner to the sugar shack for ice cream. We highly recommend this property!

This 1940s beach house was such a cozy and nostalgic stay—it truly felt like stepping back into simpler times. My children walked in and immediately said, “This feels like Nana’s house,” which perfectly captured the charm. Unlike so many rentals that are overly modern, sterile, and monochromatic, this home stands out for its warmth and character. Staying here felt like visiting grandma’s house by the sea, and that made this family vacation so much more rewarding. We did not take the bikes off the property but would've loved taking a bike ride down the strip.

This cute house was very clean and only 1 minute walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed the hot tub after a swim and in the evening. The host promptly answered any questions we had and was very nice. Altogether a great experience in this adorable and relaxing getaway

The house is very quaint with nice porch and roof top deck with nice view of the ocean. Short walk to the beach and lighthouse. The house had everything we needed, including washer and dryer, close to very good retaurants, and very comfortable. We loved it!

Minutes to the beautiful beach. Cozy cottage. Quiet street. Kitchen needs to be stocked better. No wine glasses. Few drinking glasses. The electric stove is antiquated and stove top coils hard to cook on. Two did not heat up well. Overall nice experience and the rooftop deck was a nice plus. Todd had the place clean and ready to go. Bring extra toilet paper-LOL. OVERALL A RATING. WE WOULD RENT AGAIN

This little house is great! Clean and comfy with everything we needed. There were 5 adults and we all loved it. Perfect location. Beach just steps away, hot tub, crows nest to watch the full moon! Anything you need close by. Hosts were great with communication. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and trust me....we will be back here soon!!!!!

Great vacation cottage, very well kept and clean. The owner was very responsive to questions, answering in under 10 minutes. Loved the back patio and outdoor shower, and the deck had an ocean view where you could see container ships coming in and out. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location

Our stay started off poorly, as we were not sent info for how to enter the house. We reached out before we arrived, but it took the manager an hour after we arrived at the property to contact us. We reached out via the app, contacted VRBO, and tried to call him to no avail. Once we finally got into the house and had some dinner, we decided to go into the hot tub
but it wasn’t hot. So we had to wait overnight for it to heat up. Given that we reached out ahead of time to confirm that it would be ready for us, we were sorely disappointed. Be prepared to change in the bathroom
between the gaps in the curtains on the bedrooms’ French doors and the mirrors, there’s very little privacy (privacy window clings would be an excellent addition). Sound travels, so not much privacy there either. The house was small but sufficient. It was a tight fit getting our group to sit together at the table or in the living room, but we made it work. The grill worked great! Plenty of electric cookers and pans, but no ice cream scoop. Isn’t that mandatory in a VRBO? And why only 1 extra roll of toilet paper for 8 people for a week stay?The location of this house is perfect! The proximity to the beach, with its short walk through the dunes is why we chose this property and it was everything we expected! The beach is extensive when the tide is out and even though we were there during a busy week, we had ample space to ourselves. All in all, if we return to Tybee Island, we’d stay here again.

Easy access to the beach and town! No nonsense check in/out. Thankful for the roerty owner for letting us bring our dog. That made a huge difference. Would definitely stay again.
