Once Upon A Tide | Pet Friendly, Ocean Views!

Once Upon a Tide, on Tybee Island. Enjoy a fairytale vacation in this spacious three-bedroom townhome with over 2,100 sq ft of indoor living space and a fantastic location just steps from Tybee Island's mid-island beach. Enjoy beautiful ocean views from the second and third-level porches. Swing the day away in the porch swing while listening to the lullaby of the ocean from the top-level balcony.

Upon entering the foyer, the staircase brings you to the first-level living area. Guests are greeted with the large open living and kitchen areas. The wide-open living space includes a large sectional sleeper sofa and a large wall-mounted smart TV. Step through the French doors leading to the attached balcony with comfortable glider rockers to enjoy the fresh Tybee salt air. The kitchen is fully equipped including a bonus wine/beverage fridge, and the dining table seats 8. There are a full bathroom and a laundry/utility room with a full-size washer and dryer for guest use.

On the third floor, the spoiling really begins, with the main bedroom suite with an amazing view of the Ocean. The bedroom has a King-size bed with a flat-screen TV. The attached balcony will be your favorite place to enjoy morning coffee while swaying with the breeze on the balcony swing. The attached bathroom evokes a spa-like feel with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and a twin Daybed. Bedroom 3 has a Queen size bed with a TV. Two guest bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fresh towels.

The downstairs is set up as an entertainment area with a ping-pong table, seating, and a gas grill for cookouts. This home is located one house back from the beach on Tybee's mid-island beach. Easy walking distance to several shops, local restaurants, and Tybee Island's Memorial Park and YMCA. Parking for up to 3 vehicles. WiFi is available.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Great host, communication was quick. Great views from the top balcony. Very close to many restaurants and just steps away to the beach. It was so nice to have a few days away at the beach for fall break. Great living area to accommodate the whole family. Telescope was great to watch the stars the last night when it was clear skies (I’ve added a photo of the satellite we caught while star gazing). And the decks were great for lounging. We didn’t have great weather, but our host informed us to try to go see the lighthouse while it was a little less than ideal for the beach and it didn’t disappoint!

Great location with a nice view.

Overall, it was a nice place. Could have been a little cleaner. There was hair in the bathroom and spots on floors that weren’t cleaned /vacuumed. It does need new bed pillows. The ones there are very flat.

Wonderful Getaway at the ocean

Small family mid winter getaway for a little ocean therapy. Very nice rental. Interior was clean and comfortable. Layout with bedrooms upstairs was perfect for us. View from balconies spectacular. We were much closer to the beach than we had expected! A quick easy walk down a path to the ocean.The outdoor ground space under the decks was messy, not set up, just piles of stuff. Difficult to wash feet and make our way around the junk. If cleaned up I would have rated as 5 star. Despite this I would book this rental again.

Nice low key getaway close to the beach and Savannah

The house was only 100 yards from beach access. Easy 1 mile or less walk to several restaurants and the IGA grocery. The interior was updated and immaculate. The limited grounds around the house were somewhat unkept, but we were there for the beach, local attractions, food and Savannah, so it didnt reallyimpact our stay.

The home was much closer to the beach than I thought. There were beach chairs and a beach wagon for us to use as well. Its a beautiful very clean home. There is plenty of space in the main living area for us all to gather. I hope to return.

Lovely home and great location

The house is beautiful, clean, very spacious and has everything you need in the kitchen. It has a Large washer and dryer and beautiful decks for enjoying the outdoors from home. It’s steps from the beach and walkable to town for restaurants and shopping. Just as advertised!

Perfect Home for a Family Beach Weekend Get-Away!

Property was immaculately decorated and accessorized! Our family of seven, including three children under the age of 10, had a great time. Plenty of entertaining and relaxing spaces throughout the home, including a ping pong table downstairs which everyone enjoyed. The kitchen was the best stocked we’ve experienced in a rental. The management company was wonderful to work with—extremely thorough and responsive. Will definitely be staying there again!

Gorgeous ocean views!

This was a beautiful, CLEAN home with gorgeous ocean views. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice cookware and plenty of dishes/glasses/silverware. We had a group of 8 from 8 months to 72 years and it was perfect for us all! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed t "Once Upon A Tide" to celebrate my wife's birthday. The house is right off the beach with direct walking access. It was warm and inviting with room to spread-out. The views from the porches were great. I like how it was tucked in off the main road in what felt like a private driveway. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every device you need. I would definitely stay here again.
