We have been coming to Tybee for years and have stayed all over the island. We do keep coming back to this condo complex in general because of its location and features. This is hands down one of the best - if not the best - units we have stayed in at Beachside Colony. So homey and so many amenities. Thank you so much! It makes traveling in from out of town so much easier.

Overall we had a great time staying in this condo unit! The location is fantastic. They have a number of beach supplies available, which is so helpful if you're flying! Including boogie boards, chairs, lots sand toys/shovels, & a smaller beach tent. Plenty of space for my family if 4 Including 2 kids. The queen bunk beds were awesome & very comfy. Loved king bed, mattress had memory foam topper which was decent. The pools & beach access were fabulous! The unit is managed by a rental agency, as i found most places were. So you have to stop & get your keys/code at a separate location. To note, no beach/pool towels. While kitchen had all tools we needed theres nothing but salt & pepper, no oil, no coffee, no sugar, no tin foil or ziplocks, which we found annoying. There are 2 beach umbrellas, but both are oddly missing the bottom handle bit, so you cant really use them. The location makes up for most of the little issues, and my kids had a wonderful time on our 1st Tybee visit!

Just what we needed

This was a "staycation" but was well worth it being right on the beach. I particularly LOVED the location of the unit we had. The balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. I loved having my morning drink with such a peaceful view. No problems checking in or out and correspondence was perfect! I highly recommend staying!! :)The Allen's

Wonderful Week

This property offers all you need for a wonderful getaway. The view of the ocean and courtyard made sitting on the balcony a great start or end to biking and beach. From pier to the lighthouse it’s great how Tybee has laid out safe bikeways. Look forward to coming back.

Great stay!

Everything was wonderful about the condo and the resort itself! Having sand toys there was a HUGE plus when booking the place and there was even more than I thought! *Not a big deal but the wifi information from the property manager is incorrect. There is wifi signs with name and password stuff in the condo but what the company gives in incorrect* Highly recommend!

Perfect family getaway!

We loved our stay here! Well equipped condo with everything you could ever need and more! We loved the fact that there were tons of beach items we could use. This was one thing that we didn't pack (since most of our stuff was destroyed in a garage fire last fall) and we had planned to just buy what we needed when we got there, but thanks to the owners, we had all we needed! The kids found boogie boards, my husband found a chair and I found the perfect sunshade! So thanks for that! We loved the view from our balcony and the short walk to the pools and beach. It was quiet and we hardly heard anything from inside the condo. Also loved the landscaping outside our condo - beautiful palm trees, shrubs and flowers. We had the very best time and plan to return soon! Thank you so much!

Family vacation on Tybee!

This was the perfect stay for our family of 5! Everything was provided including any and all the beach gear you could ever need. The restaurant and pools were excellent and we were literally steps from the beach. We’ll be back again

Great location

The beach colony resort is a great location for tybee island and we have always enjoyed staying there. Some things I would recommend for this particular unit: there is lots of clutter, such as random tables and chairs that aren’t needed. My daughter stubbed her toe twice because of it. It’s already a tight space, so that doesn’t help. No closet space. There is only one closet in the whole unit and it’s locked. Not much space for drawers or suitcases either. We wish the couch faced the TV. There are a ton of beach toys and supplies not everyone needs, but no beach towels that everyone could use. The AC was turned off for a day before we arrived and got up to 80 degrees and took all night to cool down. They were quick to address it when we called though and apologized. Master toilet needed to be cleaned better as well, and I had to use my own Lysol wipes to clean it off. Overall we still had a great time and love how close it is the beach and the bar/restaurant right there.

Best Location at Tybee

I’ve stayed at Tybee before at places that were a few blocks away from the beach. This condo is just a few steps away; you can actually see it from the balcony. It’s also within walking distance to great restaurants, and the YMCA playground is across the street. We couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Mothers Day Getaway

This condo has everything you could possibly need - especially for kids. All the beach and pool stuff, extra sunglasses, hats, bags and even flip-flops. The decor is a little over the top for me - stuff everywhere and lots of throw pillows. But overall it was clean, homey, and had a nice view. The management company responded and was able to remedy an issue in a timely manner. The Deck Beach Bar and Restaurant offers great food, service and atmosphere and it's right next to the pool.

Great Location!

Great location for a beach vacation. Condo is clean as is the association property. Very close to the beach! Only things to be aware of: Parking and location directions are a little confusing. Bring or buy bottled water. Counter and cupboard space is very limited for food. Bring or buy everything you need to cook beyond salt and pepper. :)
