Secluded Rainforest Creek House for 2 | Outdoor Shower | Byron Hinterland

Immersed in the ancient Gondwana Rainforest, The Creek House is a secluded sanctuary for two. Fall asleep to the sounds of the babbling creek and wake to wallabies, kookaburras, and perhaps a shy platypus. The highlight is an unforgettable, completely private outdoor shower perched right over the water. Powered by the sun and pure rainwater, this is modern luxury with a lighter footprint.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THE CREEK HOUSE:

• THE UNFORGETTABLE OUTDOOR SHOWER: Perched right over the creek with a protective roof and adjustable shutters. Guests call it the "best shower of their life"—a completely private, exhilarating experience immersed in the rainforest.

• WILDLIFE & CREEK SOUNDS: Your bedroom is just meters from the water. Fall asleep to the soothing, constant soundtrack of the creek and share the grounds with wallabies, echidnas, and the elusive platypus.

• COSY & BRIGHT INTERIORS: Tucked into the cool shade of the forest canopy, the cabin features bright, uplifting decor. Curl up on the brand-new, deeply comfortable sofa in front of the warm electric fireplace for the ultimate relaxing night in.

• A TRUE CHEF'S KITCHEN: Consistently praised as exceptionally well-equipped, making it a joy to prepare delicious meals to enjoy on one of your two private decks.

• UNMATCHED COMFORT: Sleep deeply in an 'insanely comfortable' king bed with a full bespoke pillow menu. Enjoy endless entertainment on your 65" 4K Apple TV, and find fresh, high-quality linens alongside custom-selected premium bath towels.

• A PET-FRIENDLY SANCTUARY: We warmly welcome your furry friends, who will love relaxing on the deck while you watch the water flow.

A LIGHTER FOOTPRINT:
Powered by our massive solar system (with mains backup) and serviced by pure rainwater, your stay offers sustainable luxury. We are a world away, yet just 25 minutes from the famous Doma Café in Federal.

Really clean, very comfortable, loved the big bed and the outdoor shower!!! Very private, and you can’t get much closer to nature than this! The creek is very pretty, and the bubbling sound of little gentle waterfalls over and between the boulders is very relaxing. A fabulous place to unwind, and wished our stay could have been longer! Communication with our hosts was excellent.Very pet friendly especially for an active dog; somewhat challenging for old dogs (as ours is) We loved the location, as it felt very remote, and the creeks and sights nearby are worth visiting. Not too far from the coast, although allow more travel time than Google maps will tell you Watch out for “Joe Blake” who has a special sleeping pozzie - at least, that’s where we saw a medium sized carpet python both mornings of our stay. We heard many varieties of birds, visuals not so much, as the tree canopies are pretty high.
