The room was clean and it had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, it was fully stocked with tea and coffee and the motel was super close to the train station which was so beneficial if you want to travel to Wellington City

We stayed in a one bedroom unit while visiting family in the Upper Hutt area, which was ideal as my husband often gets up very early and I prefer to sleep until at least 7 or 7.30 am. Our son was able to come and meet us in the morning so we could pick up our granddaughter and head out for the day.

Ther Lodge was close to where family live. The staff were excellent. communicate well obliging Parking was good. Disabled facilities were excellent. Ony minor challenge was disabled rooms were in the centre of the building. A better option would be to have these rooms close to exterior doors. Room doors, while fire retardant were heavy to use. Dining room awaits a new catering team, The Tote had well priced meals easily billed to your room. Everything was tried to be easy

A most wonderful stay. Beautiful room with everything you need - tea and coffee options, lovely thick towels, complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash/body creme and best of all, a welcome bar of chocolate on my bed. Had a great meal at the bistro next door. Would 110% stay here again.
