Step inside your own personal lodge and relax in front of the gas fireplace! Better yet, grill up some delicious food out on the balcony's private gas grill while enjoying a view of the village. The rest of the group can finish up in the kitchen or wait impatiently in the dining area or at the breakfast bar. Feel like a fresh cup of coffee? We provide coffee grounds so you can start your mornings right. This condo's unique loft area provides additional space for guests to rest and store gear - it has its own balcony and views of the mountain! Guests will also have access to every one of the Lion Square Lodge shared amenities, including a shared heated outdoor pool and three shared hot tubs!

Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you’ll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you’re not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Not a good nights sleep

The cleanliness was OK, there were some leftover popcorn kernels on the floor and the pots weren’t exactly clean. The coffee maker was not very clean either. The biggest issue that we had is that there was a lot of light coming through the window in the master bedroom. There’s no curtains and the blinds do not cover the entire window. I had a huge strip of light across my face the entire night and it was incredibly difficult to sleep. We spent two nights there and really didn’t get much sleep because of the light pollution. I ended up having to sleep in the loft to try to get some sleep. It would be wise for the owners to invest in some curtains to block out the light that comes in that is not covered by the blinds.

The very best feature of the condo at Lionshead Lodge is the ski valet situated at the base and the Gondola just a few steps away . Also thank you Carlos from Charter sports-a small ski shop in the basement for fixing my goggles

Amazing location - nice room

The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The couches could have used throw pillows to make it a little cozier and more comfortable. Could use a Tea maker. Water and downstairs bathroom did not get hot. Had to take showers in the upstairs loft area. Called maintenance, they made up something like everyone was taking showers at the same time. But that didn’t make sense considering of the upstairs bathroom was hot. The downstairs bathroom also had a toilet that ran. Had a jiggle the handle like you’re in a motel 8. Location was amazing. Lionshead is a great area and the property is ski in ski out. Would definately come back but on site management and facility maintenance could up their game.

Location, location, location

We were very impressed with this property. The location was spectacular. 5 minutes from the lift, at MOST. The property was very clean and comfortable for 4 persons. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items but no spices or anything other than salt and pepper, so be prepared to bring your own. There are robes for your walk down to the pool and hot tub which were also very nice after a day on the slopes. There is shuttle service available to get around the area so there is really no need to drive once you arrive. When we come back to Vail, we will definitely stay here again.

A real ski-in/ski-out where you can ski right to the hotel ski valet without even taking off your skis. Good restaurant, convenient ski rentals (in bldg) and friendly staff. The unit was decent with a big kitchen.

Great location. Only issue was at check-in. We arrived late in the evening, which the resort knew was going to happen, but it still took over 40 minutes to check in because they couldn't find any records of our reservation and the10 emails that I had from them didn't help the process at all. Very frustrating at 12:30am.
