Located in the historic heart of Valletta views over St John’s Cavalier Bastion. There are sixty steps to the door of the flat to the third floor, no need to carry your luggage up the stairs, because there is a hoist to do the lifting for you. Throw open the balcony windows to embrace the street scape beneath you with its morning market and numerous restaurants, bars, and cultural sites. A 15 minute walk to swimming off the seashore. The flat has 3 rooms— a spacious living room with kitchenette combined, a bedroom with a new king size bed, with ensuite and a walk-in shower. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, a 2-burner induction cooktop, and the accoutrements for breakfast or pre-dinner drinks. Owned by an artist and her two friendly cats, this iconic building is a two minute walk inside the city gate with access to taxis and buses. The studio was such a delight. It was bright, airy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable, with cozy pillows and crisp cotton sheets. Amelia was an absolute gem of a host: warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. This place truly exceeded my expectations and stands out as one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed in. I would hands down rent here again if I find myself back in Malta.

Amelia is a wonderful hostess and a fount of local knowledge. The apartment is full of character and beautifully furnished. It is located with 5/10 minutes walk from all the places of interest and very handy for transport such as buses and ferries as well as being accessible for taxis being situated on the edge of the pedestrianized zone. I would heartily recommend this as a base explore valetta and its surroundings.
