The airport shuttle showed up at 9:45 pm but the driver said he couldn’t take me to the hotel because the hotel only pays this 3rd party shuttle from another hotel close by until 9pm even though this shuttle driver was driving right back with no one on it! I then had to walk down to the taxi area at arrivals and pay $25 to get to the Abercorn hotel. The have refused to give me the $25!! Cheap hotel management! Stay somewhere else… I won’t be back!

The hotel location is very convenient to business and shopping, mins to highway too. Easy free parking and nice breakfast was great for us. Staff are super nice. However room decoration is a bit outdated, air quality can be better in the room.

I will give this a 3.5 stars. We stayed in room 315 for 2 nights. The early checkin was helpful, we got to the hotel around 11pm and just took the keys from the lobby. The checking staff was nice. The elevator needs some work the buttons are not always working. The room 315 was big it has a big washroom it has a kitchenette that we did not use it is a pull-out couch separate from the main room. The main room is fronting the main road which is quite noisy. The AC needs an update it's quite noisy and old. The bed was good it's clean and the firmness is just okay there were ample space for our stuff. The only thing I didn't like about that room was it looks really dark and it has carpet installed. The location was good for us since our friends are from Richmond and the hotel is also close to the airport. The hotel also fronts Costco which is quite OK. I wish there would be at least a couple of bottle of water in the fridge when we got in we had to ask the reception which he politely gave us a couple of bottles

Everything was right. Staff very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fine, staff managing kept clean, very friendly. The only glitch, probably not hotels fault. When I assisted my wife to her flight after the shuttle dropped at YVR, the driver told me he would be at drop off every half hour. I waited 1 1/2 hours and finally took an Uber to the hotel at a $20 cost. Other than that incident, staying at the abercorn was pleasant.

I stay at The Abercorn hotel at least a few times a year and have been doing so for over 10 years. The rooms are extremely affordable and consistently spotless. The beds are comfortable and the building is perfectly appointed. The hotel is close to the SkyTrain and also offers complimentary a shuttle to YVR. Delicious complimentary breakfast, too!! The staff are always attentive and professional. I will be choosing the Abercorn for years to come!! There's also a restaurant on the first floor. A very diverse menu and very friendly servers!!
