Lovely, and quite unique structure and in an easy to get to location. Nice room, very clean, good staff. One significant downside was that the fire alarm went off at 7a.m. Sunday. There, out on the street are the dozens of people who exited. Luckily, it was not raining, but it was only about 4deg C. I talked to a maintenance man, asking if this was rare, but he said that it did happen from time to time and it's related to the atrium roof. NOT GOOD if they know that much about it.

This is a great hotel to stay in close to Pacific Coliseum and the PNE grounds. I took my daughters and grandchildren to see Disney on Ice and we were able to walk to the show. The rooms were nice, clean and the e-upgrade to a suite with living room and kitchen was excellent!

The lady at the front desk was cold and unfriendly. I booked the stay for the relatively low cost and great location, but the low cost went out the window at check in when we found out that parking would cost us $42 and the dog would cost us $70+ (there’s almost nowhere grassy that doesn’t require you and your dog to cross a very busy street, so the dog is as likely to go in your room as out somewhere on the sidewalk). At one point I requested two extra towels and the lady at the front desk seemed put out. She gave them to me and asked for my room number. Why is my room number important when asking for a spare towel? Was I charged?! What else… Amenities are scant. The renovations are annoying. Ice machine was tucked away down a maze of hallways way up on the 4th floor. Breakfast was inedible. Location was great. Yay!
