Overall, it's an older property and, while it's been renovated not too long ago, it's showing its age. Great location. The bed was comfortable but I'm sad there wasn't a desk to work at in the room. The room was very cold and the thermostat didn't work. The wait staff were great but the front desk staff weren't very friendly on check in or check out. One wierd thing that happened is that when I asked them to call a taxi, instead of push the yellow cab button (they have 2), the front desk attendant called someone at orange cab directly. When I questioned her about it, she said yellow cab would take a long time to show up. I insisted (after a bad experience with orange cab the night before) and yellow cab showed up in under a minute. Could have been a one off but it didn't leave me feeling good. I was excited to stay at this hotel as it had been on my list for a long time but it's just "meh" relative to other downtown hotels I've stayed at. 3/5

Would stay again anytime

Lovely compact room. Great rainhead shower, comfy bed and Nespresso coffee. A TV I could use without having to take a course. I asked for non-view and it was beautifully quiet with a few peeks of neighbouring buildings. The rooms are only on floors 8-12 so it feels like a boutique property. The front desk shares a lobby with the Terminal City Club and office floors, giving it a professional feel. Wish I could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Great value for money as central as it gets.

We loved this property! We will stay again. Very helpful and friendly staff .Comfortable room with a peek a boo view of the ocean and a beautiful city. Best location for the area. Very walkable and the coffee in the room was excellent. Although the location to restaurants and coffee shops 10/10!

Highly Recommend

I highly recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, and staff. Everything for us was a positive. The hotel handled our parking arrangements and we had no issues going in/out of the parking deck, which is accessible through the hotel lobby. We did not utilize any food or exercise facilities so can't speak to that.

Although this was an amazing and beautiful property with exceptional service, there were a few simple things that had a mild impact on our stay. For example, having no pop machine on site and also the lighting in the bathroom is not very suitable for applying makeup. Also the beds are quite firm. Don’t get me wrong, I would stay here again but just wanted to mention a few things.

Love this hotel! Can’t wait to return!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The room was beautiful and very clean and well stocked. Loved the fitness area and pool. Also, I really appreciate the recycling bin in the room having the sections for different types! Very helpful and I love knowing my recycling is actually being dealt with properly instead of all going in the same bin and potentially ending up trash.

This hotel is fantastic. Our expectations were slightly low from looking at the pictures as we thought it might be a little dated, but the views and room size and the friendliness of the staff made up for slightly older facilities. We had a corner suite with a view of the harbour and it was stunning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again as long as I had a harbour view.
