Great space if you're traveling with family!

This suite hotel was FABULOUS!!! First, it was cheaper than most other comparable hotels and was a suite, not just a room! Bedroom, living room, and full kitchen made staying with two older teen boys so much more pleasant. I thought it might be too good to be true and not as nice as the photos but no - it was lovely. The rooms are huge, clean and comfy. Second, the location is excellent - short walks to so many of the attractions including Canada Place. AND... the Trolley Tour and Big Red Bus tour stop right out front! Finally, the lobby was lovely, the staff were super nice and always friendly, and the breakfast was a huge gourmet experience every day, that set us up nicely to either skip lunch or have only a quick snack. My favorites were the many types of Benedicts, and the blueberry pancakes with Chantilly creme. I highly recommend this hotel especially to anyone with a family who'd like a little more space. ONLY ONE ISSUE - our room faced the front for a great view BUT we often heard sirens at night of the ambulances headed to the hospital next door. They should really consider sound proofing those windows. On certain nights it was pretty annoying waking up 5 different times to loud sirens.

This was my first stay at the Century and I chose this hotel for the location and affordability. I was very pleased with the hotel, room, staff and amenities. Walkable to the ferries to Granville Island and many other downtown attractions. Super convenient to food. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location is great since you can walk to different parts of the city (it may take 20 minutes or so walking). By car everything is between 10 - 15 minutes). Breakfast at the restaurant was good. We are giving an average rate because out of 3 elevators 1 was out of service and that makes going down in the morning a 10-15 minutes wait. In addition, shower water temperature almost always was cold no matter what you did.

Location

The location was pretty centralized at only a short walk to just about everything, including a train and ferry. As for the hotel, the room was spacious and had all that you'd expect in a room (coffee, tea, iron, hair dryer, etc.). Some of the staff roaming the building throughout the day (housekeeping/maintenance) could be more welcoming to guests, but no complaints. It felt as if I had the housekeeping headquarters outside my door at all times, literally sitting on the floor and gathering/prepping for the next cleaning.
