Location is great if you plan to visit many things on Granville Island. Getting on and off the island by car can be a pain and transit is not close, so much easier to walk or bike. The room was nice but small for 2 adults and a child. We had a double room, and the beds did not really work for 2. I recommend the king bed and sofa bed instead for a family. Parking was convenient, but filled up when the hotel was full. Fitness center was just ok, but probably not a priority for this hotel. Staff was great; very welcoming and friendly with dogs.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Granville Hotel - the location was amazing, scenic harbour views, loved everything about my stay. Staff were very welcoming, and loved their energy, I would definitely recommend!!!!

Very clean rooms and very quiet. Don’t approve of pets in the hotel. Reasons: Some people and especially kids are allergic to pet dander. It is impossible to fully clean a room after a pet has been staying in it. There is also a danger for people especially in elevator.

Loved our stay at the Granville island hotel. We were there for a friends wedding and the staff was wonderful and so helpful. Our room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. I love the vibe in this hotel and the location is amazing. We walked to the market for breakfast stuff. Everything is so fresh and fun.

Love this place

Love this hotel. We've stayed many times and it's always a pleasure. Staff is a professional, courteous, and friendly. Rooms are always clean, well appointed, and comfortable. And you are literally walking distance to everything - shipping, dining, entertainment. You truly cannot go wrong with a stay at Granville Island Hotel.

I classify this a a boutique hotel in the middle of a beautiful island. The area is a tourist area where there are good restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Quirky approach thru industrial units and exterior of hotel well suited to these surrounds but interior was just lovely. Checkin staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially with an early check in. Rooms smallish but very well appointed, clean and lovely super king bed.
