Nice hotel

Historic Hotel with wonderful location. Easy parking underneath. The restaurant was good at breakfast, with a nice view. The staff was excellent and always friendly.

Delightful place to stay in Vancouver. During the winter months the English Bay is area quite calm and cozy, making for a quiet respite to the nearby bustling downtown. The Sylvia Lounge is a great place to take-in Happy Hour with classic cocktails and views of the many ships docked in the Bay. Rooms were well appointed with all the modern conveniences while staying true to its classic roots. The location provides instant access to the neighboring Stanley Park, and there are many bars and eateries within a block from the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very Old Hotel

This Hotel is in an excellent location right on the waterfront and is one of the oldest hotels. Sadly the interior reflects this and the room felt very dated and worn. The elevators also seemed very old and jolty so not ideal if you have any fear fo them. Parking is convienient and the front desk were helpful.
