Received a text for contactless check in and filled it out. This turned out to be false, there is no contactless check in and we had to redo the entire process at the hotel. Keycards stopped working on our second day and we had to get new ones Besides those hiccups it was a good stay.

Not sure how this hotel got an 8/10 rating. Anyone accustomed to a reasonable North American living standard will be disappointed with The Met. Given that I got the room for such a reasonable rate, I should have known the quality would not be there. It would be unreasonable to pay the full rate for this place.

Two night pre-cruise stay
First time to Vancouver. The Rooftop restaurant/bar was fantastic. Great food, drinks, views at very reasonable prices. 3 minute walk to the Aquabus which is a hop on hop off water taxi that has 8 stops on False Creek, including incredible Granville Island. The check-in guy was fantastic. Spent 15 minutes with us explaining what was around and recommending things to do. Wish i had caught his name. Hotel had a Tesla that gave us a complimentary ride to the cruise port. We LOVED this hotel and will surely return!!
