Giudecca Riva is a stylish two bedroom apartment overlooking the heart of Venice across the famous Giudecca Canal!

A beautifully decorated home which is light, airy and spacious with 7 large picture windows overlooking uninterrupted views of the water front and Venice itself. The apartment offers a modern vibe with elegant artwork from local sculptors, photographers and artists which show Venice at its best. Accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms - one SuperKing, one Queen (SuperKing can be converted to a twin on request), 2 full bathrooms (one en-suite), an open plan split level living/dining space with Smart TV and Free Fibre Optic WIFI, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Air conditioning is available in the sitting/dining room and air coolers in the bedrooms - cooling down to 22° - (supplement €75 per week payable locally on arrival).

There is a communal garden in the centre of the apartment block.

The apartment is located on the first floor and there is an elevator if required.

Located just minutes from all the hot spots Venice has on offer. The Vaporetto stop (water bus) is just 1 minute’s walk from the apartment and a 2 minute hop across the water reveals the lovely sites of Piazza San Marco (St Mark's Square), the Basilica San Marco and the Campenile (bell tower) in St Mark's Square to name but a few. The property is just 10 minutes from La Fenice and the numerous art galleries, theatres and concert halls dotted throughout Venice. The Lido beach on the Adriatic Coast is also easily accessed by water bus, as are the islands of Murano (famous for its hand blown glass) and Burano (lace making).

The nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo which is located just 5.6 miles from the accommodation. The apartment is easily accessed by private water taxi, Alilaguna water bus, shuttle to Tronchetto & vaporetto (water bus) or airport coach & vaporetto (water bus). Access to the apartment can also be gained by train (& water bus) or car (& water bus once parked). The smaller airport of Treviso also offers easy access into Venice (40 minutes by airport coach).

Giudecca Riva, Venice is a great choice for travellers interested in food, art, music, theatre, historic sites and city walks.

Un lieu idĂ©al pour un sĂ©jour un peu prolongĂ© Ă  Venise, oĂč l'on prend confortablement son temps.

Il est trĂšs agrĂ©able de trouver dans cet appartement une atmosphĂšre contemporaine, blanche, Ă©purĂ©e, qui repose de l'ambiance vĂ©nitienne, magnifique mais parfois pesante aprĂšs un certain temps. De plus sa belle architecture intĂ©rieure est aussi plaisante Ă  l'Ɠil que les splendides vues sur Venise qu'offrent les cinq fenĂȘtres de son beau salon. Tout y est parfait ou presque, y compris l'ambiance populaire de Giudecca, les petits commerces situĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ©, l'animation des bateaux sur le canal. La situation permet de rejoindre d'un coup de vaporetto puis en quelques pas le centre de la ville. Seul bĂ©mol si l'on est un peu sensible au bruit : la terrasse du restaurant haut de gamme situĂ© juste en dessous des fenĂȘtres, et les bateau-taxis qui y amĂšnent les clients, dont le bruit d'ensemble se surajoute Ă  celui du trafic maritime

Excellent séjour dans ce trÚs bel appartement. Vue magnifique sur le canal Giudecca et Zattere.

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine de rĂȘve dans cet appartement calme et lumineux, avec une vue imprenable sur le canal de la Giudecca, et le coucher de soleil sur Zattere. Chaque piĂšce est trĂšs confortable ; literies, Ă©quipements sanitaires et cuisine sont complets et parfaits. La rĂ©novation de cet appartement a Ă©tĂ© faite avec soin et qualitĂ©. L'Ăźle de la Giudecca est calme et trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  vivre, bien Ă©quipĂ©e en restaurant, cafĂ©s et petits commerces. L'arrĂȘt de vaporetto Ă  proximitĂ© dessert facilement diverses destinations dans Venise et alentours. Merci Ă  Barbara pour son accueil chaleureux. Je reviendrai trĂšs volontiers pour un nouveau sĂ©jour.

Excellent séjour en famille

Cet appartement est vraiment trĂšs agrĂ©able. Sa rĂ©novation rĂ©cente permet Ă  la lumiĂšre de remplir l'espace avec l'utilisation de sĂ©parations en verre dĂšs que possible. La vue sur le canal de la Giudecca en double exposition depuis les 5 fenĂȘtres du salon, dont on n'a qu'une idĂ©e partielle avec les photos, est magnifique. L'appartement est idĂ©al pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis avec ses 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain / douche. La chambre sur le canal secondaire avec vue dĂ©gagĂ©e sur les Zatterre est baignĂ©e de lumiĂšre le matin. L'appartement est trĂšs agrĂ©ablement dĂ©corĂ© et parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©. La seule chose que nous regretterions pour un sĂ©jour de plus d'une semaine est l'absence de lave-linge. La propriĂ©taire et son reprĂ©sentant sur place ont Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement aidant pour prĂ©parer notre arrivĂ©e, et sur place avec une recherche de baby-sitter. Nous avons par ailleurs pu quitter l'appartement tardivement car il n'Ă©tait pas relouĂ© le mĂȘme jour mĂȘme. La Giudecca est un quartier trĂšs agrĂ©able, au calme de l'agitation de la place Saint Marc accessible Ă  quelques arrĂȘts de vaporetto et pratique pour rejoindre de nombreux quartiers comme Le Lido et ses plages. Un abonnement Actv est nĂ©cessaire pour profiter de la ville. En bref, je recommande vivement viewofvenice.com

A great and quite spacious apartment on Giudecca Island so a 5 min hop by waterbus to the busier part of Venice.Still had restaurants and supermarket close by so we tended to have lunch in Venice center then retreat to the calmness of Giudecca in the evening

Der Aufenthalt war in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Und Venedig in dieser wunderbaren Wohnung auf Giudecca zu erleben, war grandios. Beautiful apartment in an ideal location

This apartment far surpassed our expectations! We loved the location, right on the fondamente near the Palanca vaporetto stop. The property is light-filled, spacious, modern and up to date with an outstanding view of the Guidecca Canal from numerous windows. We enjoyed mornings and evenings sitting in the living and dining rooms, just watching the water traffic go by on the canal. We often ate in and found the kitchen to be fully equipped, with beautiful dishes, glassware, silverware and cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms offered lots of hot water and great water pressure. Wifi service was strong. The property shares a garden with other apartments and provides the most lovely environment. You feel as though you are living as a local in Venice. We recommend the nearby daily fresh fish market, the fruit and vegetable stand with the most beautiful produce and Majer for delicious bakery items, takeaway dishes and coffee. The property manager was delightful and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Views in a Lovely Apartment

It was our first time in Venice and Karen’s apartment was perfect. We shared it with friends and it was spacious and comfortable. And wow the views! Amazing. We really loved exploring Venice and coming back to Giudecca in the evening away from the crowds. Loads of cafes and restaurants with beautiful food and friendly people. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment was spotless clean and had everything you could need. Karen was very responsive and answered my many questions prior to check in. Barbara was there on the morning of our arrival to show us around the apartment. She was kind, sweet and welcoming. The house book in the apartment was super helpful as well. As former VRBO hosts we really appreciated the attention to detail. We highly recommend Karen’s lovely apartment and would stay again.

Venedig und Ruhe,einfach fantastisch

Wir hatten zu viert schöne Tage auf Giudecca.Nach all dem Trubel in der Stadt tat es gut in die Ruhe von Giudecca zurĂŒck zu kehren.Die Wohnung ist liebevoll ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt und darĂŒber hinaus.Im Sommer sollte man unbedingt gleich die Klimaanlage mitbuchen.Es wird sehr warm und die Schlafzimmer sind komfortabel aber klein und heizen sich schnell auf.Diese Wohnung ist fĂŒr alle zu empfehlen die in schönem Ambiente nach dem Trubel Ruhe suchen und doch eine gute Infrastruktur wie Restaurants,Verkehrsmittel in der NĂ€he haben.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The perfect stay!

The apartment is nothing short of wonderful. I stayed for 2 weeks celebrating a big birthday and visiting the Biennale and the Redentore. It’s full of light with unparalleled views across to the mainland and along the Fondamenta Euphemia. Perfect for people watching and for seeing Venice at work in the early mornings. It’s so easy to get into all the hubbub at San Marco, and then to retreat to the relative calm and tranquility of Giudecca. Getting to the train and bus stations is very easy if you want to visit other places. We went to Verona for the opera for example. Karen was super helpful in every way as was Barbara the wonderful manager who couldn’t have been kinder. Shopping is super easy too with fresh fish, bakeries, fruit and veg as well as 2 supermarkets on the doorstep. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants right outside. Any noise is completely shut out (if you want to) by the windows and shutters. We had an absolutely fabulous time. Thankyou to Karen and Barbara.Highly recommended!

Amazing Place!

What an amazing place! The views are astounding. The island setting creates a sense of being local and yet, it’s a super quick, easy and fun waterbus trip to the city. We had to make an effort to leave for sightseeing each morning so beautiful and relaxed the surroundings were. Quiet nights, I’ve never slept better. Comfortable and nicely decorated home with everything one needs for a stay of any length. Seamless check-in and check-out. Karen and Barbara provided very detailed instructions for the apartment and excellent recommendations for the restaurants. Thank you for being so kind and caring!!! I’ll start dreaming of coming back to Venice soon and hopefully, staying in this apartment again 😊.

Wonderful, stylish apartment

This spacious, attractive apartment boasts spectacular views of Central Venice, lovely furnishings, and a convenient, walkable location near public transit and local stores and restaurants. The kitchen, baths, and bedrooms in the apartment were spotless and well appointed. We had everything that we needed for simple meals, sourced from a great local bakery and nearby grocery store. The apartment also has ample internet connectivity for those who may need to work during their stay. The owner and property manager were highly communicative and helpful, both in advance and during our visit. Overall, we cannot recommend this property more highly!

Great apartment in a quiet part of Venice

The owner and her local manager were very easy to communicate with and very helpful as I made changes and requests before my trip. The apartment was just as pictured, perfect. The location is quiet, and there are plenty of restaurants on Giudecca. (And a big recommendation for La Columbia on the mainland!).

Beautiful apartment with a beautiful view

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO in Guidecca, Venice and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to all the major attractions and a beautiful view of the water. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner was also very friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless and providing helpful recommendations for things to see and do in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient home base from which to explore the beautiful city of Venice.

Perfect place, wonderful views and super in every way. Barbara was really helpfulin every way, the apartment was immaculate, great reading and well equipped. And the situation was just perfect. Will definitely be back as Venice is one of our favourite places.

Out of this world

It has been a joy to be here, away from the madding crowd of central Venice, yet just a short trip away. Such a comfortable apartment with the extra treat of beautiful linen to tuck up in. Barbara the apartment host is so kind and couldn't be more patient and helpful. This apartment is out of this world and the views are magnificent. I would recommend it to anyone.
