Loved that this hotel dad a wonderful bakery attached. Hotel was so helpful setting up our transportation to and from the hotel. Staff so friendly. Clean rooms. We will come back.

We got a junior suite here and the extra room was nice to have. Once we figured out the AC we were very comfortable. The location was five minutes from St. Mark's Square and vaporetto stops. All men behind the check-in desk (Enrico, Nicola and one whose name I can't remember) were very helpful with directions and reservations. Highly recommended.

The room was great and the staff were so incredibly friendly. We were a little worried it might be loud, especially when seeing there were ear plugs provided but that was not the case. The room was quiet and in a convenient location.

While the staff were great, it was simply not worth the cost booked through Expedia. Air-conditioning kept resetting to 80° during the night so sleep was interrupted three out of the four nights. Traveler should be aware that it is difficult to get from where the water taxis drop off is to the hotel requiring carrying suitcases up and over steps in bridges.

The rooms are very small with only basic amenities. The one elevator is cramped. The hotel promises a view and San Marco Square; we booked a room with view of the square. If you archer your neck put the window you could see the top or the clock tower in the square. I found the description of the facility to be misleading.

First off the front desk staff is top notch as is the service peeps. Really helpful and friendly which is enough to make me want to stay again. The room was typical size and bathroom was larger than average. There was a daily/nightly issue with a noise coming from the tube that is used to plugin the vacuum (for the cleaning crew). It would randomly make a loud metal banging noise (note: did not happen after about 10pm so should only impact if you are trying to nap). Otherwise the room was quiet. There is a decent restaurant downstairs (a bit pricey, but so is all of Venice). The location is fantastic, short walk to many sites/restaurants.

We stayed at Rosa Salva Hotel for two nights and had an amazing stay. The rooms were spotless, the interior renovation was very tasteful, the staff were helpful and responsive, and the location was simply perfect. It is just a 5-minute walk from San Marco, with plenty of dining options and cute boutiques within walking distance. We will definitely be back.
