San Marco Elegant Apartment with Tall Arched Windows
Nestled in a quiet spot of the San Marco District the Bellini apartment is a newly renovated and very elegant two bedrooms apartment located next to the Fenice Theatre.
The location is possibly the best in Venice Historical Centre for its quietness, beauty and central position.
The Bellini apartment is found at the 3rd floor of an historic building with a large and easy to climb stairway and it is laid out on about 120 square meters. It is full of natural light flowing through the many tall arched windows, it features original Terrazzo Veneziano flooring in the living room and larger bedroom and an elegant fishbone parquet flooring in the second bedroom and entrance room. The interior design project is ambitious as for the use of mirrors and antiques, blended with stunning wallpapers and contemporary touches: the result is a distinctive and inspiring ambience.
Beside the location and the exquisite interior design, the great plus of the Bellini is the classy, airy and spacious living area, composed of a large sofa with plenty of seats, an antique table for six and other beautiful antique furniture, an exceptional fully equipped kitchen and a little terrace. The mirrors reflect the stunning Murano glass chandelierâs light at night and the ivy visible through the arched windows during the day. The TV is hidden inside a cabinet to preserve the authentic Venetian style.
The Bellini offers hospitality to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: in the larger bedroom there is a king size bed that can be used also with separate beds, while in the second bedroom there is a queen size bed. The bathrooms are particularly beautiful and are both equipped with walk-in shower.
Every room is equipped with an efficient air-conditioning system, there is climate-controlled heating, Wi-Fi internet connection, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, etc.
For larger groups we highly recommend the Opera apartment, composed by the Bellini and the Verdi apartments, located at the 3rd and 4th floor of the same building, that can comfortably host up to 9 people.
On certain dates of the year, visitors must pay an access fee of EUR 5-10 per person per day to enter Venice. Those with accommodation in Venice are exempt from paying this. Guests must however request an exemption voucher in advance and present it with an identity document on arrival. To check affected dates, fees and request an exemption, visit cda.ve.it/en/.
The apartment is clean, well appointed and has a very elegant style with beautiful chandeliers. It is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Piazza so San Marco but a little off the beaten path. There are 5 restaurants within 100 meters. Breakfast at Al Teatro is greatâŠamazing espresso and pastries. Antico Martini, claiming to be the oldest restaurant in Venice, had a very nice dinner with good selection of pasta, meat and seafood. The only complaint about the apartment was the A/C was set on a timer and turned off every 3 to 4 hours.
The place was nice and spacious with a great location. Instructions to Room on arrival to Venice was a disaster. Contact told me to go outside to left near Rialto and meet boat taxi #2 which I did but apparently I was supposed to go further left of bridge for a different boat taxi #2. So I assumed we were going to right place for 15 minutes in taxi and driver assumed it then he got a call he missed his pick up. Italian antics and cursing ensued for 15 more minutes but we finally made it to space after many calls. Other issue was the Air conditioner was extremely hard to figure out despite looking very obvious that you had but it didnât seem to cool very often at all and stayed fairly hot even though temperatures was set as low as possible.
