I had hoped for better, but it really is just ok. Good for a cheap deal, but no amenities. My TV didn’t work, unable to connect to WiFi, and the cold water knob in the shower was broken so it was tricky showering and not getting too hot. The place could be so cute if they just fixed up the bathrooms and replaced the molding in the rooms.

At first I had concerns due to the “look” of the place then I realized it fit in well with the atmosphere…clean rooms, NO bugs, pleasant staff. Enjoyed the stay.

Let me save you: The room was very dirty had bugs smelled like cigarettes was very humid furniture and sheets were worn down stains on the sheets and blankets overall the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life.

The AC was blocked by the blackout curtains. The bed was hard. The mini fridge had a broken temperature nob, so any drink or food places inside completely droze. The room had a cockroach in the microwave.

While I appreciate the fact that Travelers Inn is primely located in Ventura, I felt that all the amenities were lacking. The pillows on the bed were small and flat, the sheets were stiff and starchy, and there was no comforter on the bed, only a blanket that did not seem very clean. All the walls were stained or had dirt on them, you couldn’t keep the window open in the bathroom, and we were not provided any soap. We had troubles getting the door of the room to sit properly in the doorframe, and couldn’t get the deadbolt to engage properly from the outside. There was an AC unit which was nice but it was very weak and needed to run for quite sometime before cooling the room down at at all. When going to the bathroom at night we also noticed cockroaches running around in the bathroom. Overall, if it’s just a place to sleep it is alright, but if you were planning on spending any time within your room beyond that it would be pretty lacking.

Roaches in the bathroom, and the place is a real dump. But the worst part of it all was that my wife and I woke up the next day covered in bedbug bites. This place really needs to be shut down or completely renovated.
