Huge room lots of comfy seats & space

So-so check in. Not un-friendly but not welcoming. Surprised by the big room with a living room couch & comfy side chair. Extra sink by fridge & microwave. Office desk and TV. Plus another area with the bed and a 2nd TV. Lots of lighting. Restaurant on-site was great. Good food & friendly service. Bathroom is clean and tub is big. We wanted to swim but pool was not open. Front desk staff said maybe at 7 but it didn't get open until almost 8 pm. No explanation as to what was going on. Looked like a nice pool area, wide, large, steps for kids to sit or get in slowly. Water seemed a good temperature. We decided to skip it as it was late.
