Pretty little house in northern Portugal near Viana de Castelo in Senhora Neves

Come and discover Senhora des Neves in the north of Portugal near Porto and 14 kilometers from Viana do Castelo (you will find us on google earth), a region typical of this country with its customs and very welcoming inhabitants. The food is organic and delicious at very affordable prices (eg the meat is cut in front of you and not expensive). Its breathtaking landscapes (sea, mountain, forest and countryside) are breathtaking, unforgettable walks, excursions and climbs.
In the village next door, in Barroselas, you can do business at the fair, take a dip in the municipal swimming pool, send your postcards by post, do your shopping at the supermarket.

During the month of August, all the surrounding villages organize parties to the delight of young and old, who can play, eat, laugh, have fun. All the inhabitants of these places will be welcoming you.

To do all these activities, we provide four bikes for an additional 7 euros per day and per bike.

The house offers WIFI (the code is to be requested).

You will live in our house on the ground floor, it is composed of 2 bedrooms (sheets, duvet, pillow provided), 1 with its bathroom with shower, there is also another small bathroom (with hairdryer, straighteners, scales), a kitchen fully equipped with appliances, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer (dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, salad bowls, coffee maker, teapot, toaster, juicer, vacuum cleaner hand provided). The living room with television with usb port if you wish to watch films downloaded at your home, stereo (cd), wifi, internet and the dining room for 6 people, we provide you with a laundry room with its washing machine, his ironing board and his iron.
You will also take advantage of our large 900 m2 garden with its green grass and shrubs, ideal for children's games and the idleness of adults.
For quieter stays, you can take advantage of the garden furniture with its parasol and the barbecue to cook good meat.

If you rent or come by car, you can park it in the garage or in the large driveway of the house which can accommodate 2 other cars

On request, you can request additional hours of cleaning done by Rosa (5 euros per hour), for example, to have the cleaning done in your absence.

If you do not have a vehicle, 10 minutes walk from the house, there is a train station that will take you either north to Spain, south, to Porto or closer to you, different beaches (Amorosa, Plaia do Cabdelo, Neiva do Castelo, ...). For example, to go to Viana do Castelo (an important city in the region), the ticket will cost you less than 2 euros.

In Viana, during the summer, you can attend traditional and religious festivals (parade of emblematic characters, markets made up of local products, games, various exhibitions, ...). This pretty town also has a pretty beach for swimming or collecting shells early in the morning. To dine or have a drink, you can sit on the terrace of one of the many cafes or restaurants serving delicious typical Portuguese meals.

At Christmas and / or Easter, religious events are grandiose, because it is a very believing country.

In the town where our house is located, Senhora des Neves, you will find cafes on the main square which will warmly welcome you as in Corsica, everyone knows you, you can stay there as long as you like. There are also small shops (butcher, bakery, grocery store, hairdresser, early product, locksmith, hardware store, ...) who will be happy to serve you. After a few hours with us, you will feel at home with friends. if you wish, you can have bread rolls called "trigos" delivered to your home every morning, to cook up great breakfasts sitting in the garden furniture and in the morning sun, there is also the fishmonger who passes twice a week to offer you the local fishing (Viana and Porto) of the night at very correct prices, you will appreciate to grill the fish on the barbecue with potatoes or tomatoes bought at the market.

During your stay, you will feel a great feeling of change of scenery, calm and serenity because everything is quiet and relaxing without being boring. There is always something to do in the city or the other villages.
