The villa has two large bedrooms and it's an ideal accommodation for a large family or a group of friends.
The best part of the house, however, is the large terrace with a stunning view of the gulf of Naples.
The villa is suitably located on the main road to Sorrento and Amalfi coast, as well as Pompeii, Vesuvius and Naples.
Just across the street there is a fully equipped private beach (the Bikini Beach). Nearby there are other private and public beaches.
Two starred restaurants and a convenient bistro are at very short walking distance.
The apartment is furnished with two bathrooms, both with showers, two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen/living room.
The villa has Wi-Fi and it’s ideal for your smart / remote working. The villa has its own private parking. Towels and bed linen are provided. For large groups (8+), we have an adjacent house which can host up to 5 people.

Best place to stay in Naples Region

What a great property and location. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The ocean view is gorgeous. Location is great and close to the town of Vico. Vico has great restaurants (we went to Al Buco and Pizza a Meter) and lots of shops. We stayed here as a central location to get around to see the rest of the Amalfi Coast and it was perfect. The host Gennaro is kind, helpful, and so pleasant. So happy we stayed here. Grazie Gennaro for letting us stay in your home!

Peaceful oasis on the Sorrento Coast

My family and I enjoyed a week at this property in July. We were pleasantly surprised that the home was even nicer than depicted in the online photos. It is very clean and well-maintained and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The best part is the huge, beautiful terrace with a view of the sea and gorgeous sunsets. There is no living room but we did not miss one since we could live on the terrace. Parking is convenient and the location is an easy drive to the beach or local towns. One downside is that the closest beaches in walking distance belong to fancy beach clubs and are mostly inaccessible, or very expensive, for visitors so we had to drive to better beaches. As others have mentioned there is quite a lot of street noise but at night when we closed the windows and shades it was quiet. The host was very helpful, responsive, and friendly, and offered a lot of useful information about the local area. We highly recommend this home and location as a retreat when visiting beautiful Vico Equense.

Great Location on the Bay of Naples

The location is about halfway between Naples and Sorrento so we found it very convenient for sightseeing Pompei, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Getting around was super easy as there is a train in Vico between Naples and Sorrento with convenient parking at the station. The flat was very clean and overlooks the Bay of Naples from its large terrace. Out host was super helpful and responsive to any questions we had. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here and we also found some great restaurants in Vico Equense which was a bonus.

Great views and easy access to the Amalfi Coast!

My wife and I along with another couple spent 7 nights here. The house is centrally located with easy access to Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Pompei and Capri. We chose to not rent a car and the nearest train station was in Vico Equense which was about a 1.25 mile walk each way. We took the train on the days we went to Sorrento and Pompei. There are quite a few great restaurants in Vico Equense as well as a grocery store. We highly recommend Tito's Ristorante and Pizzeria for lunch or dinner. There is also a deli at the bottom of the steps from the house called Oasi. The saltimbocca sandwiches were delicious as well as the espressos first thing in the morning. Thank you Gennaro and Tatja for your recommendation to use Alex for our taxi service. We used him several times for those late nights that we didn't wish to walk home from Vico Equense. We really enjoyed our stay and Gennaro and Tatja were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The deposit was also returned very quickly. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we would do differently is we would probably rent a car for easier access to surrounding areas (for those of use brave enough to drive :) ). Once again thank you Gennaro and Tatja!

A home away from home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this amazing condo that overlooked the Napoli Bay. It is very spacious and has all the necessities of a comfortable stay. The owners are super helpful even going as far as ordering our pizza for us because we didn't speak enough Italian. They also organized a driver to pick us up from the station and take us to the condo. His name is Alex and he was just as amazing. Nearby is bikini beach and Il bikini restaurant. Both are perfect. The food at the restaurant was 5 star and the people who work there extremely friendly. All in all I would 100% stay at this property again.

Spacious and comfortable apartment with spectacular views and very well located.

The property was in excellent condition with two new bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. A very large patio with fabulous sea views was a great attraction. The position on the road was convenient and surprisingly quiet. All communication with the owners was efficient. We highly recommend this apartment. It was more than big enough for four, so a larger family would fit in too.

Great jumping off point for the sights of the Sorrento to Naples coast

My family of 5, which includes 3 kids in the 12-16 range, spent 5 nights here in late June and it was perfect for our needs. The place is not fancy, but was exactly as advertised and was a perfect jumping off point for the start of our adventures in Italy. Items of note that I think would help a fellow traveler include the following: * Gennaro was a kind, responsive and helpful owner. Communication was easy and quick. The deposit was returned very quickly and without any difficulty. * The house is perfectly located, roughly half-way between Sorrento and Naples. It's 10 minutes by car to Pompeii, 20 minutes to Mt. Vesuvius and around 30-40 minutes to Naples and Sorrento. * The town of Vico Equense, which is charming and has wonderful restaurants, is a quick 5 minute drive (2km's). We highly recommend Tito's for dining and Gabrielle's for gelato (and cheese). * The house also includes a parking space, which is vital, as a car is a necessity if you stay at this house. Be forewarned, as nice, warm and welcoming that the Italians are, Petrol seems to have a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde effect on them, with the insaneness increasing as the number of wheels decreases. Driving is 'an experience'. I'll leave it at that. * There is a wonderful deli within a 1 minute walk named Oasi. They have all the basics and make wonderful sandwiches called Saltimbocca's. We all loved them. Excellent to-go coffee in the morning as well. * The beach across the street is a beach club as is 95% of the beaches in the area. Bikini Beach was a little too pretentious for us, so we spent our beach day in the area at Scrajo (5-7 minute walk), which we enjoyed. You need to bring or buy your own beach towels. The only nits that I have is that the washing machine was a bit temperamental and didn't really clean our clothes and the mattresses are a bit dated and somewhat uncomfortable. It might be time to replace both. While this is a 5 star review, it should be noted that the house as clearly depicted in Homeaway's pictures, is a 3* property. Its clean, functional and the AC works well in both the bedrooms. There is also a lovely outside terrace with wonderful views of the Bay of Naples. Its a 5* due to the excellent combination of location, price, owner service and the accommodation. I'd enthusiasticly recommend to family and friends visiting the area and brave (crazy?) enough to drive. It was perfect for us.

Amazing Amalfi Coast Sunsets over the Bay of Naples

Location, location, location! This lovely family home serves as an outstanding home base for those who look to pack in as much into a vacation as possible. The two bedrooms and private bathrooms at opposite ends of this rustic home offers privacy while the expansive terrace delivers spectacular sunsets every night of the week. Make a left and head to Vico Equense, a small, charming village with markets, shops and a great restaurant -Tito's (ask for Frederico) or try others. After a break, drive further to explore Sorrento, Amalfi and Postiano (depending on how many cappuccinos you start your day with) or even arrange a private boat tour of Capri. Be captivated by the ever present lemon trees of the local area (several on the property) and blossoming olive trees (mid-May) as these sites and scents mingle with the salty air of the sea and the breathtaking view! Make a right and you can visit Naples and Pompeii conveniently either by car or train. If you would like to take a leisurely day off, just leave the car behind and walk to the stunning Bikini Beach accessible safely from the property. All the conveniences- beach chairs, changing rooms, umbrellas and an extensive snack bar- remember it is "Eataly" as much as Italy! The full and well equipped kitchen invites mornings, afternoons and evenings full of cooking (all made with the finest produce and food available from the many nearby local markets). If you are not an aspiring chef just walk down stairs and savor the delicious food from Oasi, voted best roadside food for the past two years! A special note to light sleepers- location, location, location means road traffic so be sure to pack ear plugs or bring CDs to play on the provided system. Good food and fine wine tends to soften the road noises. Whatever your concern, the owner Gennaro, is gracious, helpful, attentive and responds immediately to your questions or concerns from inquiry to follow up after your departure. You will not be disappointed in this authentic Italian home nor by the warm hospitality of the owner and local residents!

Great accommodation in a good location for getting around

This is a very comfortable apartment with fantastic outdoor space, its located away from the hustle and bussell of the main resorts but with good facilities and transport links for getting around. We really enjoyed our stay making the most of the terrace and the fantastic views.

We enjoyed our stay (two couples) tremendously for the location, the close-by restaurants and the view. Just for further notice: if you plan not to rent a car for your trip here, be aware that the walk to the nearest train station is on the main road with lots of traffic for 20-30 min (depending on your fitness)

L'appartement est très agréable, moderne et propre avec sa magnifique terrasse très grande et ombragée (aussi grande que l'appartement) ce qui en fait une pièce à vivre très agréable après les visites. La proximité avec la route en bas ne gêne pas car nous sommes très haut. Enfin le choix de vico equense s'est avéré excellent pour les visites (naples pompei le vesuve herculanum la côte amalfitaine) car nous étions proche de tout. Pour la plage, elles sont toutes privées et le peu de publiques sont très sales, aller à la plage privée de famous beach à côté de l'appartement bien moins cher que la bikini beach en face. Excellent séjour je recommande sans hesiter. Nos enfants ont adoré le compromis visite le matin et plage à 16h pour finir par le coucher du soleil sur la terrasse !

Schönes Ferienhaus mit nur ganz geringen Mängeln

In den vorherigen Bewertungen ist alles sehr gut beschrieben. Hier nur ein paar Updates zum Mai 2018. - Beide Badezimmer sind neu renoviert. Perfekt! - Gesamtes Apartment roch im Mai leicht muffig und feucht. - Das Thema Mülltrennung wird nicht konsequent in der Wohnung umgesetzt. Es sind zwar jede Menge Hinweise in der Wohnung vorhanden, jedoch liegen die entsprechenden Tüten nicht in ausreichender Anzahl oder gar nicht aus. - Die Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus scheint auch nicht ganz klar geregelt zu sein. Wir hatten zum Glück nur die letzten 3 Nächte Probleme "unseren" zugeteilten Platz zu benutzen. Allerdings möchten auch wir die gute und freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hervorheben. Leider können wir keine halben Stern vergeben. Es sind eigentlich 4,5 Sterne. Auch wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Great Location, nice house, and very good value for money

We spent a very pleasant week at Casa Bikini with our three kids. The house was very convenient and was the perfect starting point for trips to the Sorrento coast and Naples and Pompeii. Vico Equense is a nice little town where we found everything we needed, and it's only a 2 minute drive away. The hosts are very nice and helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

Très belle maison avec vue sur le coucher de soleil

Très bel appartement spacieux, avec une magnifique terrasse avec vue du coucher de soleil sur la mer. Les loueurs sont très sympathiques et donnent d'excellentes informations sur les lieux à voir dans les environs. La route sous la maison est assez passante, alors peut-être vaut-il mieux éviter Août, mais on ne la voit pas du tout du centre de la terrasse. La situation parfaite, près de la côte sorrentine, de la côte almafitaine et de Naples, compensent largement ce petit bémol. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce lieu pourvu de tout le confort souhaitable.

schönes Ferienhaus mit nur ganz geringen Mängeln

Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es waren genügend Geschirr und sämtliche Kochutensilien, die man als Familie braucht vorhanden. Auch waren Gewürze Kaffee, Tee, einige Konserven, Nudeln und Kosmetikartikel da. Eine große Schale mit frischem Obst erwartete uns. Als große Erleichterung empfanden wir als fünfköpfige Familie es auch, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden war. Unsere Kinder waren von dem gut gefüllten Spielzeugschrank mehr als begeistert. Die große Terrasse bietet Platz zum Spielen und Entspannen. Highlight jeden Tages war der spektakuläre Sonnenuntergang, den man von hier aus erleben kann. Gleich unterhalb des Hauses befindet sich ein kleines Restaurant, welches leckere Snacks bietet; zu der Zeit, als wir im Ferienhaus weilten allerdings auch sehr gut besucht war und somit ziemlich lang Trubel herrschte, der etwas störend war. Wenn etwas Negatives erwähnt werden soll, dann ist es die unterhalb des Hauses verlaufende Küstenstraße, die stark befahren ist und somit ein Schlafen bei offenem Fenster unmöglich macht. In weniger als 5 Minuten ist ein privater Strand zu erreichen, den wir allerdings als überteuert ansahen. Zwei Sonnenliegen und ein Sonnenschirm kosteten zu unserer Reisezeit 50 €. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gute und sofortige Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, der uns wertvolle Tipps gab und unsere Fragen beantwortete. In der Gesamtheit ein sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus.
