Welcome to our cosy beach house in the small quiet township of Middleton. If you are looking for 5 star accommodation, this may not be the place for you, but if you want basics, comfort, fun, relaxation, central location and added extras, then this is definitely for you.
The property comfortably sleeps 3 people, and there is a spare single mattress if required. 2 bedrooms in main house.
It is a short 200 metre walk to local beaches, Tavern, shops and cafes.
Pets welcome by negotiation.
The house has 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with a single bed.
The main house has split system air conditioning and overhead fans.
The kitchen has a small oven and fridge, microwave, and electric frying pan.
There is a tv and DVD player. Boogie boards and board games are available for entertainment.
There is a front deck for relaxing and viewing the Steamranger train when it passes by. The back of the house has a covered outdoor area. A carport provides undercover parking for a car.
The yard is fully fenced and caters to dogs should you have one.
Guests will have full access to the house and large back yard.
We are available at any time via phone for any questions you may have during your stay.
Melba’s Place has been our holiday home for many years. We would now like to open it for others to enjoy. There may be some personal items in the house while you are there which you are welcome to use. Kick off your shoes, take a breather from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in our much-loved shack.

You come to our rescue.

We come to Sourh Australia for the gather round. The property was exactly what we need accomdation for us while weren't at the football. It was also convenient for our other activity which was fishing. Owner Lyn was a delight to deal with whenever required.

Great place to visit, great walk to the beach great atmosphere and must do, take a photo in front of the wave. Very central location to everywhere on the Fleurieu Peninsula.The hosts are fantastic.

Exploring Middleton

This property was very welcoming and comfortable, with simple entertainment of books, DVDs and games. The kitchen was well stocked with basic appliances and cookware. The private back yard was a nice place to eat. We enjoyed the opportunity of exploring Middleton and surrounding towns.

Holiday at middleton

Lovely back garden for our whippet to enjoy. Would have liked a rail at steps by front entrance as we are in mid 70’s and I felt a bit insecure entering the place, otherwise lovely and peaceful. Thank you allowing us to stay. Will recommend to friends.đŸŒč

Nicely presented original Beach shack

Owner provided put in effort to make our stay great, with a clean, nicely displayed property and large fenced backyard for the dog. Also had everything we needed or could want to have a great stay, even treats for the dog!

This place is a gem. Big backyard for the doggies and rooms for the kids for lazy days playing board games after trips in the mornings and beach walks and bunny sightseeing at night. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Relaxing beach getaway
