The front desk staff are excellent. The rooms are basic, bathroom is very small which was not an issue for me but you had to close the door to access the bath/shower. The location is pretty ideal for walkability. There is no air conditioning but a good quality fan is provided. My biggest issue was with the room doors. When you close the door it bangs but doesn't close all the way, so you have to give it another push. Basically no way to close the door quietly, so I kept hearing other doors banging in the hallway as other guests were returning to their rooms. Never experienced this before, surely it's fixable? Would only recommend this hotel if you are not a light sleeper.

This is our favorite hotel when we are in Victoria. It’s clean, friendly and so convenient to the harbor district. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds. The in house restaurant and bar are not only convenient but have a nice variety of very tasty food. Of course we will be staying here again.

Expensive but overall a great value considering prices of other hotels in the area. Older hotel, thin walls so hallway and neighbor noise is definitely noticeable. Spring-loaded hotel doors always slamming shut and can be noisy especially at night. Ample free parking, so that's a bonus too. Won't be back to Victoria anytime soon as prices are sky high but would stay here again when/if we are back.

Comfortable room with an obstructed view of the harbour from the second floor room booked. It would be nice to have two sitting chairs in the room for a couple and and small table, besides the desk area. The bathroom is exceptionally small with limited counter space, but there is a nice mirror and hot water in the shower. The step up into the bathroom could prove a bit of a challenge for some, but there is a night light in the bathroom that was handy to see in the dark. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free parking lot is handy and easily accessible.

This is an older property. It is in an excellent place in the inner harbor. The location makes up for the aging condition of the rooms and amenities We have visited this hotel several times and come back because 2 features: 1. The location 2. Ease of parking We will be back

Great room for the price.

Staff was friendly and helpful. When I ran out of Keurig cups, they gave me a mound of them to make sure I didn’t run out. Right on the bay front, get to see the ships and boats coming and going. What didn’t make sense to me though, they have a fridge, kitchen sink, pots and pans, forks and spoons, and a nice oven/stove top, but there is no exhaust fan over the top of it. So whatever smoke or smells you’re gonna get whilst cooking, there is no way to get it out of the room. And the fire alarm is only a couple feet away. That’s the only thing I found kinda weird.
